I went to this location this morning cause my car wouldn't start & I was a few doors down. When I walked in the store I made eye contact with a gentleman who was stuffing his face with Dunkin's (which is fine, I understand you gotta eat when you can), I greeted him and said good morning, which I got no reply, and started to ask for help with my battery. I got a phone call, apologized and stepped away. When I got back I asked if they could check my battery. Reluctantly he agreed to assist me. While he was searching for the battery tester, his colleagues were joking about how they didn't plug it in so it's probably dead but thankfully it wasn't. After checking my battery and telling me that it's pretty much fried, we went back inside where he pulled up the different battery options. Immediately he tried to start up a ticket for the gold battery, without giving me details about it or the other two battery options. When I asked him the difference between the batteries, he shrugged and said the golds the best and it's only a $20 difference so I should go with that. When I called my bf to ask him for help since he wasn't really helping me, he asked the associate if he could just start my car for me and he would take over from there. The gentleman said "I don't know if we do that, I'm a new employee." We apologized because we didn't know that but after he said that he asked if I still wanted the battery. He didn't offer to ask another employee if a jump was possible and then told me even if I purchased a battery, the guy who installs them doesn't come in till 11(it was around 09:45AM at this time) and said since it's supposed to rain, I wouldn't be able to get the battery installed anyways. I ended up leaving the store and waiting for AAA to come give me a jump. Overall, this location is a disaster. The employees are only interested in helping you if you make a purchase and since I'm a female, they thought I wouldn't know anything and that they could get me to purchase the most expensive item, no questions asked. I know it doesn't matter to them but I will be taking my service elsewhere. read more
