At this point I believed we were going nowhere(not even home), by chance we came across Coby autos on the Naas Rd, nowhere else was open at 11am on a Sat and we limped into the garage. They were closing up and could have said sorry cant help, but instead Joe sent us to a nearby hotel, removed the stat and filed down the housing and fitted it all back together, fixing the leak, 2 hours later we off to cork! I've had my car serviced there since and is is not close to where I live, very resonable rates and always excellent quaility work. Highly recommended.

My local Audi dealer ( now defunct btw) , were never really into getting to the root of some of the issues. Also I felt the main dealer labour prices were way out of whack. I have used coby autos for my last 2 services and they were good to deal with. It's a no nonsense sort of place, no pretty receptionists or showrooms. The facility itself is fine, a brace of car lifts and a couple of diagnostic units for checking engines and electrics on cars. The electronic hookup was great and they solved a recurrent abs fault and faulty temperature sender in the radiator of my car. They assume you understand the technical issues with your car rather than assume you're a silly airhead female! They don't hassle you to buy a car which is good for me as that really bugs me. The shark smile doesn't do it for me as I've experienced in other garage. However it's quite pricey here. A service is €195 although I got €50 off and apparently to fix all the problems my car has would cost €2221. A tactic to make me trade in maybe? Hmmm???

Had to get tracking done and asked if they could identify what the knocking noise could be on my…read morecar which was to do with the front suspension, they have checked and noticed a part which was on its way out that another mechanic didn't identify. Got booked in a week later, on the day after changing the parts the noise has indeed reduced! But there was something else causing the clunking noise.. they gladly invited me to come back around a few hours later after i called in. We did a test drive with one of the mechanics who was very helpful; he has lifted up the car again and checked through again and has found that the previous mechanic didn't tighten the droplinks correctly. He has tightened them correctly and long behold the noise was completely gone! No extra charge and a lot of peace of mind!! Would recommend!

Hi everyone. Just…read morewanted to give a warning against Germaniks (Michael Riva / BMWPlanetDude). Last September, I bought an NBT Evo unit, screen and cables. I opted for NBT Evo as it seemed much more capable than NBT unit. I was unaware of the fact that it was a ID4 unit originally with only 2GB RAM upgraded to run ID5/ID6. After months of chasing, Mick eventually delivered my unit to me a few days before Christmas. During testing before the install, I immediately noticed a high-pitched buzzing from the screen, and sent a message to Mick with a video. It also crashes constantly, and is completely unfit for purpose. I sent it back, and Mick upgraded the firmware saying it would resolve the crashing - it didn't. He gave me a new voltage regulator, and this didn't resolve the screen buzzing, which he said he couldn't hear. For something he said I would have back within few days, it took around a month to return, during which time I really considered contacting the Police. I've finally managed to get in contact with Mick again, and he is refusing to honour warranty on a faulty product. I've asked for it to be swapped to an NBT unit, or an NBT Evo 4GB as previously agreed on the phone, but he has declined. Please do not purchase anything from him. I know he had a good reputation previously, but this has certainly not been the case in recent months. I don't want anyone losing out on the amount of money I have.
