I purchased a pair of struts on-line from classicgarage.com, which is owned by Auto Essentials Warehouse. The owner is a guy named Stuart and preaches to have the best prices, parts in stock with an unconditional guarantee. On the first transaction I purchased a pair of Boge struts. After we configured the application and the card was approved, he called me back and said he couldnt support the price. He said, he wasn't responsible for his web site and didn't know what was on it. Nice owner, he cancelled the sale and tried to steer me to more expensive parts. I thought maybe a bad day, so like a fool, I made a second transaction. I made the purchase according to the listing. First his person, which I suspect was him communicating via e-mail (9PM in NY) said I ordered the wrong part Then he said I ordered the right part and my mechanic didnt know what he was doing. I think not, factory trained at Porsche and all. And you know the unconditional guarantee, he didn't support that either. No exchange, refund, credit, too bad. Now, I'm stuck with the part. If you want to waste time and money, then buy from him. If not, buy from a real business!! read more
