Rob and Ben were able to put us in a car I never imagined I'd be driving...so they really helped make a longtime dream of mine come true. I would later buy a car from this man who had mistakenly forgotten his business cards. Andrew, our car salesman, didn't even like sushi; but seeds were planted. So on a particularly hot late May evening we took a stroll through Patriot, hoping to test drive a Camry we had scoped out online. We left with a Volkswagen Golf at the top of our ceiling price. If you ding a auto dealership for your own willingness to be talked into spending more money, you're only cheating yourself. So, easy review. The gritty truth is that Patriot seems to sell cars by committee. Now I'm quite new to buying cars from dealerships, and despite how personable Andrew was, my questions and paperwork were fielded by the entire office. If not occupied with a customer, the employees were free to jump in conversations and offer their advice. Certainly a negative for those looking for a one-on-one experience with their salesperson. My MTI did a diligent job in scaring me about buying a car outside of the gate. With good reason too, but nothing jumped out as being seedy or shady about their business. They were clean and professional. They weren't pushy like commercials or desperate like stereotypes. Did they offer me coffee and hold my door open? yes. Did they want to sell me a car to put money in their own pocket? absolutely. Take salesmanship with a grain of salt.

Bought a car from the dealership and first week had a couple major issues with the vehicle. The…read morefirst issue they resolved In a reasonable amount of time. Got the vehicle back. Had it for another week or so and the transmission decided to go out. No big deal. Gave it back to service center for them to fix because it's part of the 1 year warranty. After about a month with no update about how long it's going to take I decided to get involved in trying to see how long it's going to take. They said they had ordered the wrong parts and that they had no idea when the new parts would be ordered/arrived. Chased them around for another few weeks trying to get answers then they finally said they ordered the transmission but had no idea when it would arrive. Another couple weeks goes by they finally get the part then tell me they don't know when it will get fixed because they weren't going to fix it in there shop due to being busy. Mind you I've been waiting 2 months at this point. Another week or so goes by and they just keep stringing me along not knowing how long it's going to take yada yada yada. They finally tell me it's at a different shop and the maintenance has started. More issues with the vehicle and doing quality insurance drives. Finally after 2.5 months. I get the call that it's done. I go in to pick it up. A nice lady is helping me and then Edward Armstrong walks in. He's being very aggressive with me for no reason telling me that if anything else happens with the vehicle to take it elsewhere. That's not the deal. I have a 1 year warranty with them to fix it is what I said. He decides he wants to square up acting like he wants to get physical and aggressive trying to tell me how to be a mechanic. That's not my job. The individual finally walks away. The nice lady at the counter had no words. By far the worst customers service I've ever had. The worst I've ever been treated at a place of business. I go back in to give them the courtesy vehicle keys and ask for this individuals name. He comes flying in acting aggressive again like what did he do wrong. I tell him. Tell him it's the worst customer service I've ever had. He continues to be disrespectful and smug about it and walks away. Absolutely flabbergasted that this took place.I would not recommend using this company for a used car. The salesman Matt was a nice guy. He treated me well. This wasn't his fault. The manager John got involved after a while saying he was going to help me get to the bottom of it but really didn't do much. He meant well and maybe my expectations were too high but in my mind a customer trying to see how long this is going to take isn't a unreasonable request. Of course I'm going to keep getting frustrated when I get zero information besides we are working on it. Can't give you a timeline etc..
