This business is NOT closed. Awesome service. Fast turnaround on my 2009 Prius screen in July, 2026. Good communications and an easy process to get the work done. Thank you to Steve and his team! read more

I wish I had a better experience like the other reviewers here. 18 months ago, the touchscreen went out on my 2008 Prius. I found out about these guys on the Prius chat forum board that they repaired dead MFD's. I gave them a call and sent my screen in for repair. A week later, I received it back, and it looked like someone drop kicked it. The screen was all skewed in the bezel housing and had broken clips. I contacted them immediately, and they said it must have been damaged in shipping (funny, because the box it was shipped in was in pristine condition) and to send it back and they would take care of it. Well, I sent it back (and ate the cost of shipping it again) and waited another week to get it back again. They give a warranty for one year on the repair.... well, guess what? Right at the 18 month mark, it just died again today! My suggestion is to look elsewhere for your MFD repair, or find a certified used one on ebay. read more

Called and advised enthusiastically to " bring car in today "-- we will take care of you. 4 hours later I was told nothing wrong. Interestingly; no other customers were in view. The phones didn't ring and I sat inside and waited. The owner Steve is a manipulator and lures customers into trusting him. read more

I just found this place randomly online after my Toyota dealer could not repair my MFD and said that even replacement MFD were not available at any price (2008 Nav). I spoke with the repair tech on the phone and he sounded knowledgeable. The Yelp reviews of this part of the business sounded positive. I sent in the dead MFD, paid the repair fee and I got it back in about a week. Installed it and it's working normally. Its been about 2 weeks so far but they have a 12 month warranty on the repair. Thanks for providing a service I needed. read more

Auto be Yours- Although this place was recommended to me by a family member and was perhaps once upon a time a place of ethical and moral integrity I found quite the opposite. I was sold a Prius that had 71,000 miles and told I had to wait for them to restore it. I rented a car and waited for about month. I dropped the car off at the airport in Louisville and took possession of the car that they assured me had 71,000 miles. As I was almost to Louisville I looked down and noticed the speedometer said 171.000 miles! I called them and they agreed to take it back and find me another. Chris the owner found me a car with 100,000 miles and wanted to charge me more! But we agreed on the same price and I had to wait for them to fix it. I waited for weeks and I had a book signing tour in Virginia Beach and had to drive the "car". The morning I was to drive to Virginia Beach the car would not start. I called AAA but they could not start it. So I rented a car and went on my book tour. When I return I called AAA and had the car towed to AUTO BE YOURS. Chris refused to give me all the money back for my cash purchase. He short changed me over $1000.00 dollars blaming me for the battery dying and AAA for damaging the car!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS OUTFIT THEY HAVE LOST THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN HAVE IN ANY BUSINESS A GOOD REPUTATION. read more

What amazing customer service! Dealership wanted 1000+ to replace the screen. Found Auto Be Yours online, sent them the screen unit, they repaired for $299 and sent back. Two years later, had another issue, it was out of their warranty but AutoBeYours fixed it for discounted repair. Highly recommend this shop. They communicate well and their turn-around-time is FAST! read more

A few months ago the touch screen on my Prius died. When I took it to the dealership they said the part alone would cost $1,200, and there would be significant labor on top of that to actually do the repair, which is probably more than my car is worth at this point. My wife and I looked online to see if we could do it ourselves and came across this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF9yJwOCRdU Given the $300 price tag (and the fact that the address is in some random city in Indiana), we thought it had to be a scam. However, after we pulled out the screen ourselves we figured the worst case scenario was losing $300 so we followed the instructions and sent off the touch screen. To our great surprise a couple weeks later we got it back, and it works perfectly. Autobeyourscom does exactly what they claim, and they will save you thousands of dollars. Additionally, I have not come across any other mechanic that does this repair. I highly recommend them if your touch screen dies on your Prius. read more

Ditto for all of the good things that others have said. I was quoted a crazy price by the Toyota dealer of $8900 for a new MFD (2006 Prius with 103K miles). Didn't trust what I would get from eBay. An online parts dealer sent me a refurbished one for $380, plus $300 reserved until I sent back my old MFD. But their MFD did not have the same electrical connections, so I had to send it back. Was getting discouraged as I could not use my defrost. Thankfully I came across AutoBeYours. Fast, easy process! Highly recommend them. The YouTube videos work perfectly for removing and replacing the MFDs. I did it in a few minutes (took a little time to dust inside). read more

The MFD on my daughter's 2009 Prius was acting up, not functioning and the touchscreen out of sync. I saw the AutoBeYours.com video on YouTube to remove the MFD and then was lucky enough to talk to Steve himself for a few minutes to ask a few questions. Steve took time to explain things, and I trusted his wisdom to send out the MFD. In one week's time (from 1/6/20 - 1/13/20, West Coast to IN and back), we received the fully functioning MFD, which works just like new! My daughter and I were very happy! Thanks for the great job, Steve and Company! If your Prius MFD has problems, I highly recommend AutoBeYours. You will not be disappointed. read more

Autobeyours provides great service. The main display (MFD) on my 2007 Prius went out - no image, no touchpanel, no cellphone, etc. - dead. The price of a new unit at the dealership is $6,400 + labor! Steve (of Autobeyours.com) has a video on Youtube showing how to disassemble the dash and remove the unit. I was a little about nervous doing it, but it went quickly and easily, only 4 minutes. I shipped the unit to them. The day they received it, I got a confirmation message with the invoice for the $299 repair. Two days later, the unit was repaired and on its way back to me via Express Mail. It arrived today. Three minutes to re-install it and I was back in business. I am very pleased with the entire process - their helpfulness, ability to repair the unit, and fast response - and most of all the price. Thank you Steve and the others at Autobeyours. Expert hybrid automotive repair at reasonable prices. I purchased a refurbished inverter for my 2005 Toyota Prius from AutoBeYours. It came with a 90 day warranty and was installed by my local Toyota dealership here in New Jersey. The AutoBeYours price: $495 plus shipping to me and shipping the old one back to AutoBeYours, so about $575 total. If I'd purchased a new one from Toyota: $3,100 Thank you so much for saving me about $2,500 on my overall repair bill. I wish you were closer to north eastern New Jersey Thanks for the great service!!! read more

Service was great! Fast turnaround. Our monitor came back better than what it was originally. It is so much clearer. Also we had another question about an unrelated problem and they sent us an explanation about how to fixit with a new cord at no extra cost. Very happy with the service. I also like that we have peace of mind for twelve months. Thanks read more

I purchased the 2014 Prius v back in August 2020. I drove it off their lot home to Detroit Michigan. The ride home was smooth sailing all the way. I continued to drive my new car worry free. Just last week, on November 2, 2020 my check engine light came on. In a panic I drove it to the nearest Toyota dealership and requested diagnostic test to be done. When the diagnostic test were completed the service department informed me that the light came on because I had driven my new car 5,000 worry free miles, and also I was not putting the gas cap on tightly after fill ups. They did the oil change. They told me I should see that light again after the next 5,000 miles. In short this is the best car I ever purchased in my life! It is the most efficient worry free car and rides like a dream. The family at Auto be yours is friendly, down to earth, and Honest. They explained everything to me about the history of my Prius V before completing the sale. They answered all of my questions to include a 12,000 mile, 1 yr full warranty. I highly recommend Auto Be Yours, They have put the joy in driving! Steve did mention to change the oil every 5,000 miles, but in all the excitement I forgot. He also told me to call him with any questions. Had I called him I sure he would have saved me the panic. Steve, love to you and your beautiful family. Sincerely, Antoinette Phillips read more

I just re-installed the Prius multi-function display repaired by Autobeyours and it's working again. (If that should change I will update this post.) I mailed the unit in for repair and it came back within one week. Furthermore, it was easy for me to remove and re-install the MFD with the help of the Youtube video posted by Autobeyours. My regular repair guy here in Los Angeles quoted me a lot more than $325 so I saved quite a bit. Simply put, I am very happy with the service. read more

Like others who posted, I used AutoBeYours for a 2006 Prius screen repair. My screen (with Nav) no longer responded to touch. The other replacement alternatives were all $1000+. I saw the Autobeyours YouTube video and was impressed by the glowing reviews in the comments section. I followed their simple video instructions, sent in my screen, and received in back in a week. Works good as new! Wish I had known about this service two years ago :) Thanks! read more

So very happy with the service this company provides. My 2009 prius touchscreen was dead and it is very expensive to replace. $299 for repair was a much better option. I was a little nervous having not used them before, but was happy I did. Everything went exactly as the website described and my touchscreen is working again! Highly recommend. read more

My 2005 Prius MFD stopped providing any data for me and it would not control HVAC and radio. Found AutoBeYours and followed the simple directions to get it out of my car (sure it took me more than 2 minutes but still less than 15 minutes). In any case, sent it in and got it back in less than week. All is fine now and saved me $$$$! read more

I purchased a 2007 Prius in March of 2016. I had to take the car back to the shop a couple times for very minor repairs. I was given a one year warranty on the vehicle and every person that I have been in contact with has given the best customer service! I am happy to say that my Prius is still in excellent running condition and I have not had one shred of buyers remorse from my purchase! You're treated fairly and quoted very fairly! I frequently recommend this company to anyone searching for a good reliable used vehicle. In total my family has purchased 3 Prius' from Autobeyours and all have been excellent vehicles!! Do yourself a favor, have a few good laughs over the "Primos" and other creations you can see online and in the shop, and buy a car from this place! read more

I used their Titusville, Florida location but Steve changed out my hybrid battery on my 05 and I found the experience to be very fair and the work was done well while I watched. I would definitely recommend. read more

Rockstar!!! My 2007 Prius MFD went out, and the dealer quoted me $1200 to repair the MFD. With Autobeyours help, I simply followed the YouTube instructions to remove the MFD, shipped it from California to Indiana, and received it back in about 1-2 weeks working perfectly! The $299 is a bargain. Great example of American ingenuity! read more

The nerve center of my Prius, the touch screen, died. Because it's an older model, Toyota only offers a new one at a price that gives sticker shock a whole new meaning (MFSR over $8,000). Although I am skeptical as anyone about websites on the internet, autobeyours.com's description of its services turned out to be completely accurate. For just under $300, autobeyours.com repaired my touch screen in under an hour. My touch screen works again just like the first day I drove my new Prius off the sales lot. The all female technicians also repaired my trunk making my car work and look as good as new. It was clear to me that the employees of autobeyours.com live and breath Priuses and know their craft as consummate professionals. I made the drive from Chicago to their business in Southern Indiana in just over four hours (they also take touch screen shipments with a detailed pictorial/video on their website on how to remove and re-install the touch screen). If your touch screen is on life support or has already expired, contact autobeyours.com. You will have the pleasure of dealing with the most honest, personable and knowledgeable people. They will resuscitate your touch screen and make you feel like family in the process. read more

Just installed my mfd repaired by autobeyours and everything works right! $325 is a great price for this service as my toyota dealer wanted "in the neighborhood" of $600-$700. The car has been very reliable and this problem is worth fixing. Good for another 100k miles now. The youtube video really helped and I had no issues with doing this repair. Thank you Steve! read more
