While out for some weekend fun our car decided we had other plans so we searched for the nearest auto zone to use their useful error reader tool to figure out what is going on what the car. When we got there we were 3rd in line but weren't there longer than 20 minutes. The cashier was very helpful and the store manager, Fabian, was extremely helpful. He read our car twice and was able to help us figure out our next steps even though they couldn't help us with what was wrong. We gained the knowledge needed to get our car fixed and that will be why I make this my new car store.

I definitely appreciate that you can take your car to a place and have them read the computer issues for free. They also work their hardest and look it's an auto parts store so don't expect the red carpet lol.

As far as auto parts stores go I've always had good luck with AutoZone. I've been shopping at this…read morestore off and on for quite a few years now and have always had excellent service. On my latest stop in I was just looking for a replacement steering wheel cover and discovered they have quite a large selection of them. I saw several that I liked and easily made a choice of which one to buy. I walked up the front and got in line and only had a short wait till I was able to check out I give them my account information each time so I can keep track of the items that I purchased from the company. I have shopped at many of their locations through the years but this one is currently the closest one to where I live and was also convenient as we were out and we were driving right by. In the past I've purchased quite a few batteries from this location and they've been very helpful if I needed one of the old ones checked or tested. If you bring your vehicle in when you're in need of a battery they will actually install it for you as well. I've never had to have that done but I have had to have help getting batteries in and out of my car because they were too heavy for me to carry around. AutoZone also offers a good variety of testing equipment or tools that you can rent from them. Usually I find my best deals with this company all that once in a while I find a better deal at one of the other ones and it will shop at them. A worthwhile place for any of your automotive needs.

While he could have sold me a new battery for $250, instead he saw the one I had was under warranty at a competitor and insisted I try them first. Very honest and ethical. And guess who will get my business next time when I need a battery or anything else? Patrick - thank you for being an honest man.

I dropped my 2021 Wrangler 4xe off for Recall 68C (HV Battery fire risk) on 1/28/26 and was…read moreprovided a loaner. On 1/31/26, I received a message requesting authorization of $442.26 in diagnostic charges because the vehicle "would not communicate with modules," with no additional explanation. I immediately requested clarification and did not receive further information until 2/2/26. At that time, I was told no physical or visual inspection had been performed beyond scan attempts and that no troubleshooting steps had been taken, including reseating connections. During the service period, after Jeep Customer Care confirmed in writing that the repair order reflected only the recall and did not indicate any diagnostic requests or findings, I personally observed two connectors hanging in the OBD-II area and the security gateway module unplugged, despite being told nothing had been physically disconnected. After the recall was marked complete, I was informed that communication was restored by unplugging and reconnecting the gateway harness. The final repair order states that aftermarket equipment was disconnected and that the vehicle was returned to its "original state." The only aftermarket equipment on the vehicle was a light bar and dash cam connected directly to the battery and not integrated into factory communication systems. When I arrived for pickup, none of the factory auxiliary switches were functioning, the connected light bar was inoperable, and the positive and negative leads for the light bar were disconnected and left unsecured near moving engine components. Due to safety concerns and inconsistencies between documented communications and the repair order, I refused delivery. The following morning, after raising these concerns I was sent a message stating "Keith said it's all together, you can come get it. He's here now, if you want to come up." I then returned to the dealership only to find the condition unchanged. I was then advised that no further work would be performed and that rental charges could begin. The vehicle was not returned in the same functional condition as when it was dropped off. At this time, I do not have clarity regarding the full scope of what occurred while the vehicle was in service or the potential impact to system functionality. I encourage anyone seeking service to document communications carefully and review repair orders thoroughly before accepting delivery.
