They hit all the check-points from friendly attitudes, never excluding you from the loop of what is needed/happening regarding your vehicle, and obviously, they do a kick ass job at getting your car back on the road in better condition than when you came in. On top of needing an oil change and swallowing what I anticipated to be quite the hefty bill to correct whatever issue that was taunting me mercilessly, causing my check engine light to illuminate, extreme loss of power, and the worst gas mileage you can imagine (even worse than what a Jeep even regularly produces), I hesitantly brought my precious automobile into Meineke. Admittedly, with reservations which have been instilled into me from my mechanic father who harped on the fact that young girls like me will always be taken advantage of by mechanics when needing their vehicle serviced for our "inevitable lack of knowledge" in the auto industry world. As I was entering the parking lot, oblivious to the dangers that lie ahead, my front driver's side tire succumbed to the inconveniently placed curb I proceeded to ram into on my way in (okay, truth be told, I kind of suck at driving and definitely hold full responsibility for the blown tire I now had to add to the daunting list of "necessary-repairs-for-the-vastly-expensive-vroom-vroom-machine"..but seriously, watch out for that curb). Upon giving myself an epic ego check, I walked into the waiting room and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk, Alex, and explained what I was looking to get taken care of today. He promptly followed me to my vehicle and took a quick look at the flat tire and very shortly thereafter even whilst being quite busy, Brian took over as the man in charge of making my vehicle stop all the confusing bad stuff. Meanwhile, Alex followed me back into the waiting area to give me a quote after thoroughly explaining his suggestions and each step of the services I did elect to have done. With a dramatically lower price ticket quoted to me than my anxiety ridden brain computed, I happily kept myself busy while Brian got to work on my car. About halfway through the service, Alex gave me a call to explain their findings as well as suggest a few other services that he recommended to have my car in tip-top shape once I returned to the driver's seat. I opted for one more of his suggestions while requesting a quote for the rest. Alex ensured that I was taken care of and fully aware of everything that was happening out on the shop floor. Once my vehicle was finished, Brian took it for a successful test drive and Alex proceeded to gather my payment. Alex gave me an upmost appreciated discount for the longer than estimated wait I was thrilled to hang out for and once more in great detail explained each of the services they preformed and what to expect once I was in the driver's seat. I am still grinning ear to ear over the outstanding customer service I was granted during my time here with Meineke today.
