My first impression of the shop was that it was so neat and clean, completely not what I was expecting, and definitely not what I had experienced in the past in this kind of shop. Knowing that I didn't have a clue and not wanting to waste time wandering around aimlessly I went straight to the check out to ask for help, within minutes I was walking out of the shop oil in hand and a whole lot wiser on car oil, the staff were really helpful, knew everything there was to know about oil, and not a pushy salesman at all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I purchased the seal at a cost of £8.82 and from start to finish including removing and replacing the under tray it took me 20 minutes to fit. How can a garage justify these costs? Update on my review - Listers VW Nuneaton called regarding my review and explained that I was given the wrong price for the intercooler seal fitment and credit to them they did apologise and offered my a reduced price MOT and a courtesy car as I need to drop off the night before my booking. Although this mistake should never have happened an apology does go a long way to restore some faith in the motor trade. So for that alone I have decided to increase my star rating from 1 to 3.

I am very particular about my cars and I wanted a very specific model colour and specification. The car was a VW Polo GTi I ordered the new car and was given a build date and I could monitor the progress of the build, on line. I wanted the car to be delivered for the new registration but also wanted to avoid the changes in car tax as from April. The agreed price for the car was more than competitive and Listers also arranged for a cherished number transfer. All of the details, specifications were spot on in terms of the car and the service provided. The Car was delivered ahead of schedule and was delivered in a covered lorry to my home address. The handover was amazing and the car was just perfect, I cannot praise the service any higher than I would use Listers again. John Donnellan

I viewed one of their cars in November 2015 and they didn't like being asked questions at all. I simply asked standard questions i.e. if the car I was interested in had been HPI checked and was abruptly told yes all their cars are HPI checked, however because of the shifty and quite frankly rude attitude when speaking to them I felt something wasn't right (the car had already been there for many months without being reduced) so I asked a mechanic to look at the car for me and he believed the car to have previously had considerable front end damage so maybe not HPI checked after all? They obviously think the consumer to be stupid. That was fine seeing that they booked me in at short notice. They contacted me later on in the afternoon, and told me no fault could be found, although there were two registered on the system. They cleared down the fault, and ask me to montior any changes whilst driving. I asked how much this would be for doing the diagnostics, and they nothing. As it was due for a service I booked it in, and as the car had the Jaguar Allegiance card, I also got a discount on the service price. When I went to drive my car away, I noticed that they had done a complete valet insdie and out. Very impressed. Definitiely recommend.
