I accepted their quote to install pattern imprinted concrete on my driveway, my paths, lay a large Indian Stone patio to the rear of my house and a large Indian stone circle in the garden. Paul discussed the work with us in advance and gave us three costings for different options and different materials. He was honest and used his extensive experience and knowledge to give us excellent advice about the job. His estimate was fair and reasonable and we gave him the job. He brought samples of stone to let us choose colours and textures. he gave us a detailed time scale for the job and he kept to it at every stage. His craftsmen were polite, friendly and took great pride in their work. They were tidy and pleasant well mannered people. At every stage Paul or his son came to check the work and came to see if we were happy. All parts of the work went smoothly and there was no problem with any part of the job. The quality and standard of the work is excellent and we are delighted with the finished product. It has transformed the front, rear and gardens - we are delighted with it and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Authentic Driveways to anyone. The work was completed in Early August and Paul has been back twice to check the work and to see how it has weathered and as part of his service he carries out further checks , free of charge. I had a pattern imprinted concrete driveway and patio installed by this company in September this year. Paul from Authentic driveways was recommend to us by a work colleague who had similar work carried out by the company earlier on in the year and was themselves pleased with the outcome; he came round promptly and provided us with a very reasonable price, we spoke about colors and patterns and had no hesitation in giving him the work. Paul came round the following day with further samples and we agreed the final design and payment terms which were very fair. Throughout the duration of the works Paul visited the job on a number of occasions to supervise the ongoing works, but to be honest his team he had on the job got stuck in and were very hardworking. Within the week the job was complete the standard of work was superb and the finish was exactly what we were looking for. Paul has been back a number of times after the work has finished to check on the job free of charge. We have passed his details onto a number of neighbors and friends and I know of two people who have had work carried out by Paul and are over the moon. Paul came and looked at the project and prepared a reasonable quote. Along with a driveway patio and the new pathway we also wanted a new wall built which Paul said he could arrange also. The price was agreed and an estimated start date given. The work took place in early August and took around a week. They left the site tidy and as usable as possible and kept us informed of the progress and any issues etc. The work has made a huge transformation to our property and in the words of my wife "it is the best money we have ever spent on the house" and there has been a fair bit! Overall very happy with company and work, would recommend to anyone considering this sort of work. As an alternative to block paving and a replacement to tarmac it is an excellent option. read more

Hired this company in August 2013. Myself and a few other people at our offices have hired this company to carry out work, Paul is a real straight talking bloke he is a great guy to work with and the work is carried out at a good price. My job was rather complicated it was split on two different levels, issues with drainage etc and previous companies had failed to come up with a suitable design but within a couple of hours Paul came back with a great solution. I am thrilled with the work carried out by his team there really nice guys and are extremely hard working.
