I have a storage shed in my back yard that I haven't cleaned in years. Since it's Spring, I decided it was time to clean it out and either give things away or throw things away. I opened it up, stepped in and began to move some boxes out of the way when I heard an unmistakeable rattle in the middle somewhere. Slowly backing out and closing the door, I ran into my house and looked here on Yelp and found Austin Snake Pros. I liked what I read, especially that they relocate snakes rather than kill them. I immediately called them up and within a couple of hours, because they were on another call at the time, they were here. The owners were super cool, very professional, very knowledgeable, and very prepared. In the end, they bagged a rattle snake. Not only that, but they made sure there weren't others in the shed or anywhere else in the backyard. That was a great relief to me. They're reasonably priced and I was very satisfied with their work and positive attitude. I strongly recommend them to others. read more

Wildlife photography had helped pay the bills while Rio was in college; catch-&-release techniques now took precedent over killing nuisance wildlife. All snakes serve a role in Central Texas' ecosystems but rattlesnakes can't be allowed to menace playgrounds!
