The good: The landlord was MOSTLY happy with the way the apartment was cleaned, making a particular note of how clean the oven was. That said, there was a complaint made regarding the blinds not being cleaned and this is despite me paying $50 extra to specifically have these done. The bad: The cleaners were late. 4 hours late. Communication was poor. The very bad: For two weeks I've been calling and messaging to have the cleaners return to finish the job (i.e. blinds). The landlord is seeking to retain $140 from my bond because of this. Messages are not being returned, and calls when answered lead me nowhere. I am not going to waste anymore of my time. They claim to guarantee bond cleaning, but fail to do so. Use at your own risk. There are other companies, used in the past, at a comparable cost that follow through 100% of the time. ** Update - they have finally come around to clean the blinds. If I could give no stars I would. Do not rely on these jokers. I made a booking for a Monday morning 1 week in advance. Sunday night I get a phone call saying that they can not arrive til lunchtime. I change my morning off work to a full day off work to suit their timetable. After they are an hour late I phone to see when they will be arriving and I am told that they can not make it because they have a bigger job. After I have explained that I have lost a days income and now have no way of getting the apartment ready to hand the keys over on such short notice they tell me they can do Tuesday instead. I explain that the keys have to be handed in and I can not take time of work on the Tuesday, I am them told that this is MY FAULT FOR NOT BEING MORE ORGANISED. So the result of this experience is loss of a day's income, loss of some of my bond and a more expensive carpet clean due to the lack of notice that the other company was given as well as this man being extremely rude and insulting. It really is simple, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We booked Dany and his Ausclean team to conduct an end of lease clean 3 weeks prior to the date we required the service to be provided. We were very explicit in our requirements (particularly the timings for the day), including the house layout, rooms, etc and we were quoted $340 for the entire clean. We were somewhat sceptical, as this price seemed to be too good to be true, so we invited Dany out to our property to confirm the quote, but e said that was not required and the the quote was good. We then contacted Dany the day before the clean to confirm that his team would be arriving at 8am to conduct the clean so that we could hand the property back at 2pm. He said that was fine and that the team would be there. Later that day, we get a call from the team actually assigned to do the clean asking if we can have the clean done the following Monday, as they were quite busy and wouldn't be able to make it on the Friday (that we had booked them for 3 weeks ago!!!!). Their excuse was that they had a bigger job that was taking longer. After many frustrating phone calls and hang ups between Dany (when he actually answered our calls) and his team, we were told that the cleaners would arrive at 10am on the day we booked. Well I think you can read between the lines and realise that they were late and we were still chasing them at 12pm to try and find when they would arrive at our property. The whole process was an absolute joke and Dany continually tried to deflect blame and say everything would be all right. His patronising tone was extremely annoying and totally unacceptable from a service orientated business. The icing on the cake was when the cleaning team turned up and then told us that he would not clean the property unless we paid $700 (double the price quoted by Dany). Just stay away from these guys. They quote low to get your business, then stuff you around with timings and when they have you over a barrel (because you can't arrange anyone else) they try to jack up the price. My recommendation - stay away from this company. I had a bad experience with this company. My landlord was not happy with cleanliness of the property after Ausclean serviced the place, and now the landlord is going to withhold part of my bond so that he can hire another cleaning company to finish the clean. Despite organising details (such as time of arrival) with Ausclean during work hours, I still received messages on my mobile late at night whilst I was asleep to inform me of an arrival time the next morning which was an hour later than what I had requested. The cleaners then turned up late for the job. This caused me to be late for work. Even though I had requested the entire cleaning package up front, I had to ask the cleaners to come back the following day because they didn't clean the walls which was part of the package. On the positive side, at least I was not charged for that. So overall, I am out of pocket on the bond and Ausclean refuses a refund. The landlord is not happy either. I will not be dealing with these cleaners in the future. read more

We chose them because they were the cheapest and they have a 100% bond back guarantee. The cleaners were 2 hours late. After the clean the agent sent us this list of the following areas that needed more cleaning: 1. Oyster light covers 2. Skirting board 3. Dishwasher door 4. Shower screen in main bathroom 5. Laundry sliding doors 6. Walls throughout slightly marked 7. Laundry bench and floor 8. Also did you arrange for the carpets to be steamed cleaned? We really struggled to get Auscleans to return our requests for their team to return to the property. Several emails and texts went unanswered. I found that while Dany at Auscleans would ignore my calls, he would answer straight away if I called from numbers other than my personal mobile phone number. We contacted the new tenants and arranged for Auscleans to visit at on the following Monday. Auscleans never showed up and they never called us or the new tenants to say they weren't coming. We were then told that Auscleans did not do clean "outside of hours". We then arranged Auscleans to complete the clean between 12pm and 4pm the following Sunday. We contacted the new tenant and let them know the plan. At 4.30pm on the day of the clean the new tenant contacted us and said that they had waited in all day and that Auscleans had never called and had not shown up. At this stage we gave up on Dany at Auscleans to let him know that we would arrange for the estate agent to have the clean completed. On several occasions after the original clean Dany was loud, aggressive and swore at us. The cost of additional cleaning was $74.80. We have requested this money from Auscleans. I wish I saw these reviews earlier. The worst in the business and I had to get another cleaner to re-do everything. When I called Dany to ask them to clean again after the bad report from the agent, he kept ignoring my calls. Finally when he did pick up, he said he has a family member going overseas and that he's busy. So unprofessional. Also, he didn't give an invoice. When we asked, he said he'll email it but never did. Terrible cleaning service. I've never left a review before but felt I had to to avoid anyone else getting ripped off by these guys. We paid for a full house end of lease clean, and they didn't even sweep the floors, clean the walls or wipe the skirting boards. When I called to ask for a refund or for somebody to come back and finish the job we paid them to do, they were extremely unhelpful and reluctant. The cleaner has just come back through after hours of phone calls and texts, but has spent a total of 25minutes dusting off the skirting boards. Nobody from the business is now answering my phone calls. Our house inspection is tomorrow, and I will now spend the night cleaning the house myself so that we can get at least some of our bond back. read more
