I love this place. I took my snorkeling gear with my girlfriend to practice before our cruise. The…read morerecreation center had HUGE lap pools and a diving pool (not to mention the outdoor pools too!). All we needed was a lane for ourselves to practice in. The pool was very clean however it was a little cold for being heated. The diving pool was deeper and somehow way warmer. There was a clock by the lap pool I used as a timer to see how fast I could swim and hold my breath. It was all around a good experience. The jacuzzi was very nice and refreshing after I was done trying out my gear. The only drawback about this place: there is no unisex steam/sauna room. The dry sauna was located in my locker room. My gf and I wanted to enjoy ourselves and use it before we left, but to no avail. The Eastridge and Southridge rec both have a unisex steam/sauna room. Overall a great experience with good parking. I will come back.

With all the HOA dues that are collected from the folks residing in Highlands Ranch perhaps an outside pool company should be hired to manage and fix the chemicals in the pool.

Blucore SC is a range, gun shop and training center. It's is clean. Prices for items are fair value…read moreand can even be a great deal if you have a membership as you get your discount. As for the range, it requires a membership to shoot. Is it worth the value? Well that depends on how much you shoot, train, purchase from the shop. I'll leave that up to you. For me, it is well worth the membership. I can almost always find a lane in rifle, pistol or both. This is one of the only ranges I know that allow you to train with rapid fire. I have heard some rumors that ranges say, "no headshots" what really? NOT BC, in fact they want you to train for real world situations. Which brings me to the training classes. The class begins and we spend an about 45 mins on gun safety, what to expect. Afterwards, you are taken to the range for the hands on portion. If you put the class/yourself in danger, expect to be corrected. "But my guns not loaded" Rule 1 gun safety. That is the point of the class. The class may seemed rushed. That is because they are dumping a lot of information in a short amount of time. From there, YOU are responsible to practice at home or on range, what they taught you about manipulation, trigger control, etc. The range offers rentals 9mm to .50 BMG. Targets, sleds, range scopes are all available if needed. The shop: They have the basics and some nice firearms for sale. They definitely don't have the largest selection. The staff may not be all smiles and overly energetic but I have always gotten a hello unless they were with a customer. I appreciate they offer help or help when asked but they aren't pressuring you to buy crap, they aren't in your face while browsing. If you have questions about an item they are knowledgeable about what they have and sale.

I fully understand that BluCore indoor shooting range is the only one in the Denver Metro area with…read morea 100 yds rifle range. The 100 yds rifle range shooting environment is deplorable. 1. Lack of maintenance or reinvestment of Blucore's funds back into the target retrieval system, 2. Minimal lighting within the 100 yds range and shooters booths, 3. shooter's booth table tops are loose, need to be recovered and extremely hazardous to the shooter, 4. trip hazard on the flooring, and 5. the air purification and fresh air recycling system is deplorable and is extremely dangerous health hazard to the shooters. In conclusion, I'm having a difficult time understanding why the owners are not reinvesting funds back into BluCore Shooting Range to make this an Elite and Safe shooting environment for their customers. I hope there will be change soon at this facility.

The space was just what we needed and having nice padded chairs was a big plus. After packing up we realized a valuable hand made child's rocking chair was missing. I cannot say enough to support our wonderful experience and encourage others to consider the space for their events.

They have a lot of weights and weights machines in the middle but they're lacking cardio equipment. They have about eight treadmills and they lean towards the jankier side. I mainly go for the weight area and equipment but they have an array of group fitness classes so maybe one day that will happen.
