The good: * Changing area (cabins) has been fully rebuilt * Staff is great, they let children play and have fun (not like in Fantasia where my 16 year old bother had been asked to leave the small six people jacuzzi (how stupid is that?) * They have slides open every 45 minutes or so (during weekends only) * Very warm showers, almost like Japanese baths * There's sauna * Toddler's pull area * The price €7 per adult and kids under 3 years are for free then it's €4 * Plenty of lockers that are at the pull area, so if you need anything to grab, it's right there (just have your own padlock) * Underground car park (€1 token, unlimited stay) * Vending machines with swimming gear * Spectator area that is accessible without paying for the entrance The bad: * Slides are open only during weekend This is how good it is. Pull is clean, kids and parents are all friendly.

Also if you're coming along for a private swim try to come after the lessons are over because although there is a lane for private swimming it is often full up of other children and mums and dads so no lane swimming is possible at that time. The sauna and steamroom are ok but again can be quite busy and full of people waiting for the children to leave. But on a day when you go with no lessons its quite a nice pool and much better than the old dark pongy pool that used to be the Ballymun swimming pool by the old shopping center. The changing room is all unisex and smells quite badly whenever I'm there and the toilets need cleaning more regularly.

Cleaning staff should be changed, they chat too much. Polish employee flirts with customers, is also insolent, arrogant type. Recently changed new tiles are already dirty, full of dump, etc. Changing rooms dusty and dirty as well. Looks like no one cares about deep cleaning, scrubbing, bleaching process. That need to be done after closing the centre every day for safety reasons and without people on the site. Dear customers, please use flip flops all time and don't seat on anything without own towel - this message is specially addressed to all ladies/girls so important. And cost of memberships are definitely too high, does not cover the basic requirements of such a centre. Changes, changes, more changes !!!!

Aqua aerobics classes are 6 euro and the general swimming times are 5 euro, with various offers for other classes. The showers and changing rooms are basic but they're clean and warm and the staff are very nice. A great local resource.

Not really using the swimming facilities- I should, hopefully when the weather will be a little bit warmer Classes are great- I hate spinning class, but I heard it's really good- I don't cycle at all. Zumba is great, Pilates, Yoga! Weights on the ground floor - packed on Monday to Wednesday evenings (6-8 pm) Thursday Friday better - weekends it depends. All good- most of the equipment is working. You can ask staff to show you how to use it. There is basketball-football court upstairs on the 2d floor - you can reserve it for the kid's party or football fun game - ask reception for the info! You can get your chart ( info.desk on the ground floor)- measure yourself (weight, height, etc.) And you can set your goal and go ahead- with the trainer or by yourself! It is a sin that this place was not listed and evaded review from Señor Ding Dong and myself.. We both signed up less than fortnight ago now and have attended religiously for the last 16days. Pushing ourselves beyond the capabilities of these weak meaty bodies.. Even fueled with a chemical soup of adjusting chemicals; cretin, cocaine, steroids, valium, cannabis, shark testosterone and a little splash of apple cider vinegar to bring it all together... we still are still always grounded by our human flesh, it seems it will never be dense enough to seduce a woman.... However.... On a tuesday morning.... at 6am.... in the 3rd lane of the pool( her fave..),.. an elderly woman comes out to do her Pilates.. Now i have long since been sterilized for reasons of over excitedness as a young buck fresh off the farm. But Hoo -Wee! do i get some movement from an aul biddy doin her stretches! Nothing gets me more wet then jumping in that pool and diving right at her.. She's cripple from the waist down so as long as i slip in and out before the minder notices... one in the bum, no harm done... occasionally one in the ear but thats kinda queer... Dreams are made at this gym is what I'm trying to say,... none of that really happened... (sorry yelp guys, please stop deleting my reviews..)..

I joined this gym in January and come quite regularly. It's kept clean and isn't too crowded…read morewhenever I go in the late afternoons or weekend mornings and never seems to get super crowded, maybe because there are a few other gyms in the area (Educo, Fly Fit, Spencer dock, Cross Fit). I paid the student rate of 400 euro for a 12 month membership and you must pay 2 months up front, which is cheaper than mu previous gym. They have a variety of free classes like cross fit, spinning, abs classes, aerobics etc. as well as paid ones which are discounted for members like swimming lessons and yoga. There are a few types of memberships depending on your usage, like off peak, family plan, and 3 monthly etc. at varying prices. There is a Club Vitae app as well that you can use to book any of the classes. They have a nice 22 meter pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. The pool usually only has a few people whenever I'm there, but it's very crowded on weekends when there's kids swimming lessons in the mornings. The weights and cardio room have plenty of treadmills, but only a few of the other machines like bikes and cross trainers. The machines seem kind of old, but they still function fine. The area is smaller than massive gyms like Fly Fit, but they have a big enough weights area but only one of each type of weights machine. The changing rooms are kept very clean. I don't really like the showers as you can't control the temperature and it's quite lukewarm. Also it stops every minute or so and you have to wait a few seconds before you can turn it on again which I found weird. The staff are all very friendly, and the 10% discount on food from the V-Deli as well as the Vitae Spa for members is a nice bonus. They also sell protein powders, bars, coffee, fruit, swim suits, locks and swim caps. Free personal training and designing of a new workout program is also available to members. Overall, flexible membership options at reasonable prices, well kept and well equipped. Cleanliness: 5/5 Crowdedness: 3/5 Variety of Equipment: 3/5 Staff: 5/5 Value and price: 5/5

If you are a 40 year old man, some father might bring his 7 year old daughter into the MALE CHANGING AREA and she will check out your junk. If you are a 40 year old woman, you could encounter a 7 year old boy checking out your goods in the FEMALE CHANGING AREA because his mother brought him in. The hotel's excuse is they don't have any Family Changing Rooms, (never mind that the hotel has 400 rooms and families can change in their own rooms.) So yeah, the hotel allows any gender child to access any gender changing room and they say there's nothing they can do. So sorry if you are uncomfortable. By the way, FlyFit gym is 1 block away and they charge half as much. They also don't allow children.
