We were returning from Tractor Supply on US-31, NE of Petoskey when we spotted the familiar Aunt Millie's logo on the south side of the road. An Aunt Millie's bakery outlet? Turn around for that one!
We love the Aunt Millie's bakery outlet. You will too. Where else can you stuff a bag full of really healthy 100% whole wheat Aunt Millie's sandwich bread (offset by the bargain-priced chocolate-covered graham crackers) for less than ten bucks?
We have never noticed a problem due to the bread being considered less than just-made fresh. They do their rising process properly, so Aunt Millie's bread never gets moldy and yucky before its time. We love it for sandwiches, or just toast.
My hubby is a home-made cookie snob. He complains if I buy ready-made cookies from Meijer. Yet he will eat the chocolate covered graham crackers if I get them for $1.79 from Aunt Millie's. And they're good, too.
THE MAP IS WRONG, unless it has updated to show the location as being NORTHEAST of downtown Petoskey.
