Park Rapids really has some great candy shops in downtown. This is another one. They are making treats behind the counter and offer homemade fudge and chocolates. My absolute favorite was the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Espresso Bark, yum!!! They also have a large candy selection, packaged and bulk. They have a little gift shop area in the back as well. They've got lots of good candy and fresh fudge and other treats for just about anybody. My daughter likes to get a mix of their taffy in a bag, and then we shop the window by the register for treats. They've got some really neat gifts in the back area too...a little less than there used to be (I think some shops along Main have openned up and are offering similar things). We were so happy to find this lovely candy shop open on our anniversary Twosday 2-22-22 right after a snow storm. We met the owner Ray who provided us so many suggestions. All of the staff were friendly. Most of the chocolates are made in the shop and most importantly - so yummy! The pecan turtles and fudge were really good. And the salted camels. Definitely a good experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting Park Rapids, even during the winter months. We hope to be back someday. read more

Don't buy salt water taffy in February if you want to keep your fillings. I wonder if it's old or just the wrong time of year.

Great spot! We come in every time we're in Park Rapids! It's well organized and has a massive variety of goodies, from Jelly Belly's to saltwater taffy to homemade fudge to coffee and crackers... even candied crickets! (Dare your kids to try one!) There's a gift shop in the back that has great Cabin or home gifts, too! I also love that there is a large variety of sugar-free treats on display! My grandpa is diabetic so it's nice to be able to grab some chocolates for him so he isn't tempted by the regular ones! The saltwater taffy is some of the best I've had so definitely treat yourself while you're in the area (cotton candy taffy is my fave - highly recommend!) read more
