It also houses the elegant tombs of his divorced wife, Joséphine and her daughter Reine Hortense. Joséphine's tomb is very beautiful and is a reconstruction in marble of her kneeling pose in David's iconic 'Sacre de Napoléon'. Worth a visit if you are interested in Napoleonic history.
