This is a wondrous little gem, quiet and romantic just off the main street near the Nauener Tor. They have a nice selection of Reds, Whites, and Rosè. They also offer a small delicious assortment of artisan cheeses and meats. Outdoor seating in the alley around a beautiful young Walnut tree. There is also seating inside. As a surprise there is also a lovely little wine cellar that is very romantic Today we each enjoyed a glass of delicious riesling and a plate of artisan cheeses with baguette and focaccia bread. After I finished my wine, and went for a refill, the Mrs told me about the wine cellar and invited me to look. (See pictures). Truly a wonderful place to enjoy a great glass of wine with family, friends, or someone you newly met! I/we would most certainly come back here again and again.

The first part of menu is in German but the second half is in English. I ended up ordering three hot tapas for my meals. All the food I ordered was good, I especially enjoyed mushroom dish. I paired with two glasses of wine, can't remember which was what but the last one of the menu was my favorite. Staff was very friendly. Bartender, severs and everyone seemed very nice. Everyone sat outside as they have nice seating area, but I chose to sit inside. It gave me more chance to talk to the staff and they shared some nice information about the area. I would come back to eat here again if I am in the area.

Definitely check it out but call ahead for evening reservations. Lunch is easier.
