When I called to cancel service, I was told that someone would be out to pick up the trash can. I sent in my payment for the last of what we owed and yesterday a woman came to pick up our trash can. The lady took our can and dumped the trash on our embankment. There are two witnesses that saw all of it take place. Of course we try to get to the bottom of it and call the company. The response we got was, "Nobody came to pick up your trash can yesterday" and after giving a description of the lady she still refused to give us any information. This company has taken no responsibility for their actions, no apology for the embarrassment of trash being left on our property.. and not even a simple explanation of WHY. Last time I checked, it's illegal to litter and coming from a company who "serves the public" this is shameful and unacceptable. This issue still hasn't been addressed professionally and my next step will be a report to the Better Business Bureau. read more

On Sunday, August 10, the wheel broke off of our trash can. I called and left a message, asking them to deliver a replacement can when they came to pick up the trash the next day, Monday, August 11. When I came home, the broken can was still there, so I called and left another message asking for them to return my call regarding the broken trash can. On Wednesday, August 13, I received a voicemail from an "Edna", stating that a new can would be delivered the following Saturday, August 16. Saturday came and went with no replacement. I called again on Monday,August 18 and left a message asking that they call me, as the trash had been picked up (Monday being our regular day)but no replacement can was delivered. No one returned my call, so I called again about an hour later and spoke to Edna, who assured me that "as soon as he comes in, he'll deliver a new trash can". When I arrived home from work about 4:30 PM no new can had been delivered, so again I called and left a message. This morning, "Edna" called and left me a voicemail stating that a replacement can would be delivered on Saturday, August 23rd. I returned her call and asked why no one had delivered a replacement can yesterday as she'd promised. She stated that "he didn't get back til late". When I asked who "he" was and what "late" meant, she said her brother and that he'd been driving a trash truck and didn't finish until 5PM. I then said to her, "Isn't this a locally owned business?" she replied "Yes." I stated, "Then why wouldn't the owner of the company take it upon himself to deliver a new can after hours, if necessary?" She then began to tell me her multiple personal family issues which she was using as a reason for us not having received a replacement can up to this point. I stated, "That doesn't matter to me, you're running a business and I'm a customer." To which she then began yelling at me, calling me a "cold-hearted bitch" and that "God will get you for this." She then said "Just cancel your service then!!" and hung up on me. So, now we have their broken trash can at the end of our driveway, they owe us money because we paid in advance, and we have no one to pick up our trash. I'm blown away by her unprofessionalism and would never recommend this "family owned" business for anything. Ironically, we switched to this company at the beginning of the year because we wanted to support a local business as opposed to nationally owned Waste Movers. Guess they'll be getting our business again. read more

I have been extremely happy with my service. Price is great...driver is always on time.

They state on there website that they cover all of Augusta county. But they do not especially if you live on the borders of the county. But on the other hand they do have good customer service. read more
