I came here a few times and each time was for a political event.
The first few times was when Dr. Inam Rahman was running for political office. Both events were pretty interesting and it was eye-opening to be part of the behind-the-scenes aspect of politics. Sadly to say, he didn't win. We were in the cafeteria of the school which is jut like any other school cafeteria: big, lined with bad acoustics, a stage, and one of those buffet line things at the very back. The ceiling was spotted with ceiling fans so that was nice.
The last time I was here was for Election 2012! How exciting, right? The right to vote is such a blessed thing! Ahh, to think that our voices are being heard and to think that our opinions on certain issues matter. Ahh, so cool. The whole voting process was simple. Have your ID ready to sign in, get your ballot, and start coloring in rectangles! Then when you're pau, slide your ballot into the scanner and your vote is READ! So cool.
One really bad side to this school is the parking. Holy cannoli, where is it? If you're not here for school and you're here for an event held in the cafeteria, bring the vehicle that you don't mind driving in the dirt because unless you're lucky, you won't be one of the 10 or so cars to park on the actual parking lot. There's a dirt patch off to the right side that most people park at but because I had my dad's relatively low car, so I wasn't about to have that! Luckily, I was feeling a bit rebellious that day so I drove off to the left side and parked over where the cafeteria food gets dropped off. (Hehehe, I'm so full of mischief) read more
