Amazing experience. My first time floating & I will definitely become a regular. If you have doubts…read moreor fears about floating, just try it once, it may change your opinion! I gave 4 stars because I wish the lighting was a little more dim and the atmosphere a little more calm/cozy when you come out. The extremely bright lights in the hallway were a little harsh coming out of such a relaxing, dark experience. The staff was nice but I wish it were explained to us what the benefits were and tips on how to relax and get the full experience.

I came in today for a 1 hr float spa experience. The staff are so nice and helpful. She took me…read moreback to my pod and explained process and had everything from towels to shampoo and conditioner and body wash for when you get out of spa. They had a floaty ring for your head and ear plugs if you didn't wanna get water in ears.. the water was right at about 93 so very cozy.. the spa is salty so you float and it feels very strange.. at least to me. I couldn't relax but I stayed in for 20-30 min before I quit and showered.. lol it just wasn't for me but I will say a few hrs later I noticed I didn't have as much joint pain as I did when I got there. It has a lot of good things going for it the problem was totally me not the pod.. I may try it again in future but for now I'm good lol.. thank you to staff for understanding and being so kind.

Most would probably think it is deep enough but I truly enjoy that painful deep tissue so don't mind me too much. It was a great massage, they worked very well on all areas of the body and when we left there we literally felt lighter lol. Took away all the aches we had before arriving.

My masseuse was Madalyn. She was amazing. Nice atmosphere, from the check-in desk staff to the treatment room. I left feeling so much better. The environment, customer service, massage, & overall experience was great. I also love the ease of scheduling an appointment right off of the yelp page. They probably all do a great job here, but since I've only been here once, for now, I can definitely recommend Madalyn. I will be retuning.

I came to Jacksonville Oriental Medicine after my second miscarriage feeling very defeated and…read morelost. Western medicine refused to believe there was anything wrong with me, even though my progesterone levels fell on the lowest side of their range of "normal." I did not feel listened to or taken seriously at all, the doctors had hardly any time for me, much less any answers. Viviane was the first one to listen me. She spent so much time evaluating me and listening to every minor detail of my ordeal trying to successfully carry a child. Within two weeks of treatment I was pregnant again and terrified of suffering another miscarriage. She saw me three times a week my entire first trimester. I began to look forward to, even crave the peace and serenity those appointments offered me. I know I would not still be pregnant now if it wasn't for her wisdom in Chinese Medicine. She is truly gifted at what she does. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking answers to their fertility struggles or for any other ailment you may be experiencing. As Viviane predicted, our baby girl is due in December 2013!

She studied my fertility charts on my phone's app and seemed to know right away where to place the needles. After trying to conceive for a year, we were able to get a positive pregnancy test within 3 treatments! I was hesitant to trying herbs and cupping, but both were much less strange than I had initially imagined them being and really think they helped us conceive. I'm an acupuncture believer and have been for a few years, but I had only used it for stress relief and pain treatments prior to these visits. Now I'll make sure to get treated again for the next child! The only reason I took off one star is because the walls between her rooms are rather thin and many of her customers are loud talkers so it was difficult to fully relax during the treatments due to noise. But the end result is still the same- she is great at what she does and was able to get me pregnant, so the noise issue is minor. Just don't expect quite tranquility like you would at a massage spa. Thank you, Vivian!
