I went into this shop to support it, and get a haircut since my usual barber was away for the week…read more I have to say I am absolutely beyond Upset with my experience. The lady that cut my hair scoffed when I asked for a buzz cut, again when I asked to go shorter, and a third time when I asked for my sideburns to go to the top of my ear and my neck to be cleaned up. She left a big patch of hair on my left sideburn, and the left side of my head has significantly less hair than the rest of my head. She was more worried about watching "the price is right" on tv than paying attention to the person in her chair and cutting their hair. If I ever have to back to this location I will have to make sure the muscular guy is there because he seems really cool and nice compared to the lady that "helped" me. I couldn't wait to leave. Today was a waste of $22.

My mom suggested I go there as she passes it all the time when she heads into town. I took her advice and I'm glad I did. The place is very clean, very comfortable and it's welcoming by all the guys that work there. Good atmosphere. I sat with owner of the shop and he was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted and the kind of hair I have. I recommend this barber shop to anyone who's looking for a good cut by good people. When I'm in town visiting my folks I know exactly where I'm going t I go.

I love this barbershop. It reminds me of when I was a kid, going to a shop with my father and grandfather. That's what you'll see when you go to Little Joe and John's. Look, I understand there are sick people out there and there are many worse things than a bad haircut experience. Haircuts (good or bad) is not the end of the world either way. As a parent I'm just glad my son is healthy, everything else is secondary. I don't write reviews often (if ever), unless I have a disaster of an experience and wish to warn others. The following is perspective for those who may consider going here with their own child, expecting a friendly / welcoming staff and environment.... [insert expletive]'ing SCARY experience for my 2 year old boy. Guy cutting his hair was older. Told him just a trim. I repeat -- "just a small trim" (like, not a normal haircut because he has curly hair and we don't like it too short). He started chipping his hair like crazy. But, not before repeatedly spraying water in my sons face and eyes, while flexing his big scissors in his face. My sons was literally flinching while the barber held him back. Scared him with everything. My son is 2! I asked the guy to take it easy. Then it got ugly. He KEPT GOING. Didn't stop cutting his hair, shorter and shorter. The told the guy to just STOP cutting his hair. HE KEPT GOING! I was kind of shocked looking around like, WTF is going on here -- I couldn't believe the guy?! Finally I asked him to just STOP! And he stopped. Look, again, a good or bad haircut - my son is healthy any doing ok. Hair grows back. It just seriously bothers me how the guys here handled such a young boy while completely disregarding his parent. I'll never in a million years ever go here again myself, certainly never again with my son, and I would like to warn others to please stay away. Recommending "Snips For Pips" (child haircuts in Ridgewood) or other, similar types of places for young children. [insert expletive] HORRIBLE!!!

I was traveling 45-60 mins into Hoboken to get taken care of by a great barber, but that became hard when my wife and I had our second child. Wassim and his staff have filled that role and are a quick 10 minute drive from my house. Make no mistake, these are best barbers in the area and the price is unreal- in a very good way. I also want to throw a lot of praise at Bruno and Mehmeti. Bruno is one of the very best fade specialists in the business. He's my weekly go to. Mehmeti is the guy you want when scissors and longer hair come into play. Between the three of them, these guys provide unreal service for the price you pay. I'd say it's the best barbershop that I've been to- and that includes nyc, Philly and jersey. Glad they're only 15 mins away. Highly recommend Wassim, Bruno, Mehmeti and team. They are the best in the biz.

I wanted to get a balayage/ombré after seeing a picture. I knew her from a friend and followed her Instagram to see all the amazing work she's done so far, so I decided to go to her. The parking is street parking, but it's free! Thank goodness. I got parking right in front of the salon. The inside of the place feels very comfy and cozy. Angela knew exactly how to do my hair based on the picture I had, but also recommended a better way to make it look based on my haircut. She is also such a great people person. She really makes you feel comfortable and it was very relaxing talking to her. In the end, my hair ended up looking very beautiful. I was extremely impressed with her craft. Of course, it does cost money to get an ombré/highlight done. However, you get what you pay for and you get beautiful work. Unfortunately, I am really tight on money so I haven't been back here. I would definitely recommend Angela and this salon. The other stylists were doing amazing work in there as well from what I saw.
