She was very patient with me and showed me a number of homes. I am very indecisive and was over the place when it came to figuring out the type of home I wanted..... (single family... condo...multi family... etc.). She was very understanding and helped me decide what was best for myself. I ended up purchasing a single family hone in Mid City. There were some hiccups along the way (possible easements, inaccurate property parcel on assessors site) and Carolyn knew exactly who to contact to rectify these issues and was able to find the proper information for me to make the decision to put the offer in and eventually purchase the home. I am so grateful for her help in reaching out to the seller's agent, title company and attorneys for the information we needed. Overall she made the home buying process as stress free as possible and made me feel comfortable with the decisions I was making. Most other realtors probably would have been driven crazy by my indecisiveness and lack of knowledge but Carolyn was happy to educate me on the process and took her time with me. I would highly recommend!!!!!!! Thank you so much, Carolyn!

I would advise against using Nola Living Realty if you're searching for a sincere, dependable,…read morediligent, and trustworthy real estate company to sell your property anywhere in the New Orleans parish. Avoid Nola Living Realty if you're searching for a firm that will go above and beyond to sell your home. Even though the name seems fantastic, using NOLA Living Realty will cause you more trouble than it's worth. I am a proud NOLA girl because I was born and raised here. Because of the mentality of a few, like this agency's broker, Eric Hernandez, also known as Celso, people are moving into our great city and making it into a mess. Interest rates are not where we would like them to be, and the market is competitive. Give your all and be considerate; this is a competitive market. However, being referred to as a "KAREN" just because I'm white is not only improper, it's also quite offensive coming from this individual. It was our investment home that worried me. When the house was in the agent's custody, several problems came up. Certain things are not meant to break. Toilets are used by people, yet they are flushable. However, failing to inform the owners when landscaping becomes problematic when attempting to sell the property raises serious red flags. I sent the agent multiple emails, but each time the message bounced back. As soon as I contacted the broker, Eric, since I had questions regarding my property and couldn't get through to the agent, he seemed quite haughty. He carried on talking about his problems with Google throughout the taped exchange. To put it mildly, I was stunned by the email this guy sent me. It got under my skin for him to call his former clientele racist names when he didn't realize I was a New Orleanian. I don't hold the agent responsible; she was inexperienced. The broker, however, is a different matter. There should be no room for racists in our vibrant metropolis of New Orleans. No apologies from this guy but the racist email. My suggestion is to be kind because no matter the color of our skin we all count. (P.S. Please check out all the other Google and yelp reviews. This is not just an isolated incident but a history of Nola Living) Sincerely, Born and raised (Mixed and Happy) NOLA girl

What we wanted to find was a stretch for our budget requirements, we were incredibly unfamiliar with the local market, and quite young for what we were trying to do (Surprise surprise...he's not an ageist)! Andrew was just SO thorough, never once made us feel silly for not having a clue at times, and always had our best interest in mind even if it was something we didn't particularly want to hear in the moment. Above all we had developed serious trust in him and his decision making which was very comforting when you are handling the process from 1500 and 1200 miles away. If you are buying in NoLa and looking for a professional who you can count on having your back and delivering, Andrew is your guy. The sale is now closed and we are still speechless at the service we received, & the house we found. 5 stars is simply just not enough. Also, side note we found out he had a kid the week of our close and we didn't even have a clue...so I'm actually pretty sure he's super human. If we ever stressed him out (I know I probably did haha) it certainly never showed! Thanks pal!
