Please, whatever you do, do not go to Audrey's for your photography needs.
My only experience with Audrey was at a friends wedding. For starters, Audrey showed up late to the wedding. She then proceeded to rudely boss everyone around, panicking to get a few photos taken before the ceremony. Typically, the photographer is one of the first people to show up, not the last. This resulted in only a few pictures taken pre-ceremony. That is not something one would expect when paying a "reputable" business thousands of dollars for a few photographs.
Before the reception, Audrey and her assistant (which did nothing but stand around), took pictures of everyone posed in the most unoriginal ways. Again, she was very rude and snapped at everyone (bystanders and children included) for no apparent reason. At this point, everyone who participated in the pictures were fed up with Audrey's attitude and her lame attempt at "Original Photography".
During the reception she took very few pictures, which after the experience we all had with her, was for the better. All of the wedding guests were very patient with Audrey and her assistant. Everyone was listening and obeying Audrey's every demand, but that seemed to have no reflection with her attitude.
Not only was Audrey horrible to work with, it took her 9 MONTHS to deliver the photos to the bride and groom. I know for a fact, the bride and groom tried many times to receive these pictures, but the answer was always "I'm still working on it" or "I don't have enough time to finish this right now". Additionally, I ran into her around town, and politely asked if she could please deliver the photos to her customers. Her response was simply "Soon", then proceeded to turn around and walk away.
Having dabbled in wedding photography myself, I found Audrey very unorganized, unprofessional, overpriced, unoriginal, and rude. But most of all I found her to have no passion for her business. I'm sorry Audrey, but your "$15,000" camera will not make up for the fact you lack the heart for this kind of work. Maybe you had the passion and drive in the past, but your time is up. Please make way for the new generation of photographers and business owners that actually care about their customers and businesses.
So if your looking for an affordable photographer with original ideas, a good attitude, and the common sense to run a legitimate business, look somewhere else. Audrey's will simply rip you off, treat you like garbage, and give you the half finished product 9 MONTHS LATER. read more
