We were cancelled on, a few times in the fall, when soliciting quotes. We were likely going to use Nathan and Land Sculpture because of the previous work, but we couldn't even get a quote- this is one of those operations where they sit down with you and the quote- it makes it a bit more high pressure, as opposed to being able to review the quote before. As I mentioned before, the railings were really nice, so I wanted to see about where they had them manufactured (as they are custom) and I was stonewalled by Kelly in the office. I was hoping to get something similar, and install them on my own to save some money, especially as parents are getting older. I can't recommend a company that is unwilling to even share that information, and the response was instead "let me know if I can send Nathan out to give you a quote." So, now instead of all of the positives I wrote above, when asked if I know a good landscaper, I will not be recommending Land Sculpture.

We usually do our own tree work but had JM do two jobs - both five stars (so 10 stars total). Two years ago we had a large oak in the front yard had a large heavy limb that had to be cut into smaller pieces and each section lowered by rope. Ground crew worked efficiently and safely, cut pieces to our fireplace size, stacked where we asked, and cleaned up perfectly. Last week we had a very tall pine nestled in a wooded area with no room to drop the tree so it had to be climbed and pieced out (didn't need to rope sections down). Again, they did a great job safely and in this case chipped and cleared everything (including other deadfalls etc in the woodlot). Without question they will get any other tree jobs I have, and also those needed by any of my neighbors who saw and were impressed by their work!
