We have been coming to Cora since 2010 when we moved to Germany close to the French border. Now back in the US, we buy diverse stuff here (French butter from Normandy with sea salt crystals!) whenever we visit family, even if the drive is a little less than three hours now.
Of course, we have to make a little stop for drinks. It's vacation, after all. This is the little bar inside Cora, not to be confused with their larger cafeteria style restaurant. Locals come here for a midday meal with a glass of beer or wine. Others have a cafe express. They even speak German here willingly. Of course, I insist of practicing my broken French (with a Parisian accent, lol). Bartender is a curmudgeon. It's so much fun to travel! read more
