There are many artifacts which most ages will find to be very interesting. My kids (7,10) both had a great time here. The caboose is also a great attraction as patrons are allowed to go through it. The volunteer in the museum the day we went was a gentleman named Lee. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. If you're at all interested in trains and history this is a must see.

The two older kids 8 and 10 obviously got the most out of it but it helps that there are a lot of visuals (displays, photos and video clips.) The kids asked us a few questions. I have to say they said it was ok but later in the night I quizzed them. They were easily able to spit out a few things the learned that day so I would say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Heather, the person who checked us in, we really enjoyed talking to. She amde us laugh, we made her laugh. We lingered for the last 15 minutes of our visit just chatting her up about how she got into sharks and she has some interesting encounters! Thanks Heather for educating and entertaining us! Why not 5 stars... very small. No actual tanks with baby sharks on site and it cost us $30 to get in but it lasted about 30-40 minutes total. In my opinion, not enough bang for my buck.

To be perfectly honest, I don't know and have never met any of the folks involved with this group but I see and hear the results of their work constantly. Just over the past few days (it's 12/30/17 now) they've been involved with 3 shark autopsies that appear to be a result of "cold shock", which basically froze these sharks to death! Whoa. That's crazy cold. I happen to be on the Cape right now and can attest to how cold it is to the point where Cape Cod Bay has frozen over quite a bit, which is insane when you realize it's SALT water! Anyway, these folks are doing really cool, important and interesting work - glad they are!

Secondly, it is a read a few cards mounted on the walls - with minimal equipment or displays. Thirdly, the paths on the Antenna Farm are a damn fine take. That's about it. Going back to #1, yes they are decent folks who work there. But there is not much to this place. If you scan their website, you're sure to see it all. Not lame, but.... They have a nice diarama of the Antenna Farm that is pretty well marked up and seemingly accurate. I've a friend who actually worked there as a CW operator. There is also an Amateur Radio Club there. It was closed, but the volunteer let us in and showed us around. The 2 m repeater and APRs was dead as a door nail. I did it once. It's quite a trek to get down there, but a very beautiful area. I'd give them an "A" effort, but a misfire as compared to the Vintage Communications Museum in Connecticut or the Antique Wireless Association in New York - hard acts to follow. 73s

His work is phenomenal - definitely among the best Cape Cod painters for my money. We always stop in whenever we're on the Cape to see the new works - they never disappoint - classic Cape Cod scenes beautifully rendered and very reasonably priced. The gallery is owned and operated by the artist's daughter Heather so you can be assured of the provenance/authenticity and learn as much as you want to know about the works.
