I was denied rights as a parent, like access to her school information- I was never informed that she started even though I reached out to the school PRIOR to her starting stating I wanted to go over the curriculum and I wanted a walk through. I was also denied access to sign up who I wanted to add onto the pick up list because her dad was the one to sign her up and not me. They tried to intimidate me by saying their "lawyer" read over the child custody order and there was nothing I could do about it. But when asked for their lawyer info so my lawyer could contact them they lied and said it was a "friend who did a favor for them" and wouldn't give me any information. Which is illegal. I have filed a formal complaint and they lied to them as well, good thing I kept all the emails and had proof. One day, They allowed her to attend, even though I informed the staff, that she has been sick and has a doctors appointment that day, (her dad decided to take her to school and skip the appointment- during COVID) but was sent home a month later for "COVID regulations" yet stated she did not have to quarantine for the proper amount of days because it could be allergies. If you are notified that it is allergies, then why send her home in the first place? More has happened and I have documentation of it all. Do not trust them with your kids. My daughter attended maybe 2x a week for a month and all this happened in that time span. If they are dishonest to my face, I can't even imagine what is happening behind closed doors. If it was up to me, I would have never even chose this school. But her dad was allowed to take her to where he wanted on his days.

Merced Montessori School was recommended to us by a family whose children both attended and…read moreattribute their kids scholastic and life success to all of the staff, and owner/caretaker/instructor of this school. Unlike non-related "daycare" facilities in the area, Merced Montessori School prepares/teaches kids at a very young age (we started our daughter at 2 or before) early critical skills for their quickly approaching elementary education. This type of instruction focuses on literary/life skills and independence (you learn by making mistakes safety) rather than simply putting them into a group room and monitoring the chaos. Each morning children are assigned "jobs" and are taught to accomplish literary and physical tasks aimed at building cognitive and mechanical skills. They must keep track of their lunch, jackets, clothes etc., and have responsibilities from the moment they arrive. Free time/Play time occurs throughout the day and from what I have seen creates an environment to practice the social skills they have learned. "The First 5 Years" are unquestionably the most important years in our children's lives and for this reason we have entrusted Merced Montessori School with our daughters care and education during this formative time.... We could not have been more blessed!!

We tried to find out what the monthly payment was Because my son had to pay half and his ex-wife would not give him that info she would just verbally tell him what he owed and the owner would not give my son any information on the prices. What I got instead was several weeks of back and fourth emails, and a check that was finally recieved via snail mail aka USPS. I thought: "FINALLY", cause... hey, we're talking a little over $1,800. I go to deposit it and lo and behold.. IT'S NOT SIGNED. Yes, seriously, they sent me an unsigned check. From there, I went back to the email thread, going back and forth a million times with accounting and random people who never introduced themselves. An aggressive email from a random staff member named Patricia, who never introduced herself or her role in the whole situation. I didn't receive any phone calls, no apology, no accountability. Weeks go by, and I don't receive another check, so I filed a dispute with my bank after attempting to resolve this for over a month. Guess what? I finally heard back from accounting. They tried to get me to cancel my dispute so that they could issue a check again. I said nope! Thankfully, a week or so later, my bank was able to refund me the entire amount after literally faxing them our email thread and the unsigned check. We've been with Ms. Carolina for the past two years, and I'm so thankful for the care she has given my daughter. When my daughter was around 20 months old, she went through a stage where she didn't want to eat, drink, or play much. Ms. Carolina kept me updated every day, and we worked together to help her through it. Thankfully, it didn't last long, and now she's eating and drinking well again. I also love that Ms. Carolina cooks fresh meals every day and makes sure the kids drink plenty of water, especially during the hot weather. My daughter was also potty trained at daycare when she was a little over 2 years old, which was a huge help for us. As a full-time working parent, having a daycare I can trust has been such a relief. Ms. Carolina has also been very flexible with early drop-offs and late pick-ups when I needed them, and I really appreciate that. I definitely recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a caring, reliable, and loving place for their child. We're so grateful for everything Ms. Carolina has done for our daughter.
