There is really no Uber or anything of that nature in Los Alamos. I reached out to the Atomic bus company and they gave me Tina who led me to Cindy who is the owner of the Los Alamos Taxi. I corresponded with Cindy via texting and she was very responsive and had quick availability for car service as I was moving my flight up by a few days. The drive to SantaFe airport is 1 hour one way and then the driver needs to come back to Los Alamos, which is their home base, so the cost was $160 plus a $30 fee because I was being picked up at 5am. This rate is very comparable for the same drive from the Jersey Shore to Newark airport. I initially searched on Google and found this company. I gave them a try, the owner whose name I believe was Marcos, was very kind and patient and explained how the prices worked and what kind of cars they had and the whole process. The day I got picked up, the car showed up 10 minutes early, the driver helped me with luggage, asked me if I wanted any music or keep it quiet. Honestly the chauffeur was first class all the way. It honestly really made the start of the trip that much more enjoyable.
