Definitely not my favorite re-use of a great old covered market building, but worth a visit if you're in town - really, it's hard to miss. Then go check out the beach and cliffs, that's why you're here. And beware trying to park anywhere in the vicinity of the city center if you're driving - you're gonna end up walking so hopefully it's not raining when you visit.

I got the best service here from Laetitia. We came in the store at 10am opening time, and Laetitia…read moreand the security guard happily greeted us at the door. After asking me what I wanted, Laetitia showed me all the options, and also showed us all the latest bags that had historical meanings to them, how they were designed, why they were designed this way, and details behind each design. She told us interesting stories and history about Louis Vuitton, which was fascinating. Not only did we feel like VIP, but also we were the only ones in the store, as if the whole store were closed to serve only us. After I decided on a bag, Laetitia asked if we would be also interested in a limited edition Deauville bag that LV only produced 40 of them, only after getting the approval of the Mayor of Deauville and only being sold in this store, and over 20 of them were already gone. Of course I said yea! It was such a great experience shopping in this store. I cannot be happier. Laetitia was warm, knowledgeable, and professional, she give us an incredible luxury experience.

Friendly team members, Harold at the door, Enzo at the bar/restaurant and Charlie at breakfast; personable, capable and professional. The grounds and building are beautiful in design. Function was not well thought out in the guest rooms, no USB ports in a new hotel?, built in side tables were hard to access and small, mirror in the bathroom is a tiny round circle that is inadequate. Bathroom amenities were Guerlain, nice quality. Lighting in rooms and in public areas was of poor quality- lots of bare bulbs and cheaply made fixtures. Several in the lounge simply were not illuminated? Our overall experience was a 3 but the "gourmet" dinner restaurant experience was a 1.5 or 2. First the tables are in a rather strange arrangement nearly classroom style and many facing a wall. The chef can cook but timing was awful, we ordered the 7 course tasting menu, 2.75 hours into the experience and we were on the 4 th course a 30 minute wait between courses is unacceptable. The highlight was the squid pasta course, the langoustine and fish courses were overcooked. Service was slow, inattentive and unrefined, plates delivered without flatware, dishes left empty on the table, water not refreshed. The service team were not well trained or empowered to be hospitable with the 3 exceptions I noted earlier. Overall not satisfied with how they handled the dinner experience and our feedback. I was kind in the review, they simply do not understand what hospitality is or where it must come from.
