So we came back about an hour or so later and ended up having to still wait a little bit but, they have a large, comfortable, and very clean waiting area! They also have water bottles available to customers, which I think is smart at any tattoo shop. Everyone was super nice. They run the facility very professionally. By the time the piercer got there, he had a few people waiting other than us but was great about taking his time with my friend. Chris was very nice, professional and extremely clean. He made sure to ask my friend what exactly he wanted and it was quick and painless and affordable! I am loyal to my tattoo artist but if I ever needed somewhere new to check out I would definitely go back. I plan on returning to that piercer to get my nose done! So if you're looking for a nearby trustworthy tattoo shop, definitely check them out. I'll share a few pictures of the waiting area. I went to Vein and Laser yesterday for the first time, for a tattoo removal consultation. After the…read moreprocedure was thoroughly explained to me by the nurse (Bea), I decided to go ahead with the laser treatment on my arm and leg. Bea did such a wonderful job of making me feel more at ease, as I was fairly nervous. She explained the numbing process and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay throughout, which gave me a sense of comfort. She did not rush the procedure at all. I am prone to anxiety, and Bea's kindness and professionalism helped me get through it. Also, the laser portion of the treatment was truly painless! Upon completion of the procedure, I was sent home with a packet of after-care instructions, ice packs, and all the supplies needed to bandage up & care for the areas that were lasered while they heal. I am confident that I have finally found the right place to remove my tattoos once and for all, which is such a relief. There are several tattoo removal clinics out there, but based on my prior experiences and comparison to my great appointment at Vein and Laser, I'm not certain of their effectiveness or legitimacy. I highly recommend this office, as your care will come from a medical doctor and RN. Yes, it is a bit of an expense (yet not outrageous!) but worth it for the high-quality laser equipment and the extra care received!

It's minimalist in design and function, which is fine. Her room where the magic happens is equally clean and sanitized and she is highly organized. Everything is arranged with professional attention. She takes you through each step of the procedure and calms your nerves. I have been contemplating micro blading for the past couple of years and always chickened-out. After reading her website, reviews and photos on Yelp, and then calling her and having a very pleasant phone conversation, I was convince she was the right choice. The whole process is about 3 hours, which includes signing paperwork, discussing the procedure, the markings on your face, my approval of the shape, then the micro blading. I've been to Dr Kovak many times for different issues, but the first time was to get rid of the…read moreappearance of veins under my eyes and few spider veins on my face that occurred as a result of waxing away that peach fuzz (eye veins unrelated). Dr Kovak is very compassionate and reasonable with the prices. I paid far more at a random laser center when I received a treatment for over 150 that did nothing where as Dr. Kovak zapped the tiny area for basically nothing after doing my under eye area which was very reasonable. I had done fillers from another doc long before I knew Dr Kovak and it wasn't a good experience for me, Dr Kovak is someone I've come to trust. That previous doctor was giving me vitrase in order to dissolve the product that migrated to above and below my lips and used a bit of steriod in the mix for the nodules I developed and it cause a dent/indentation or atrophy in my upper lip that looked pretty bad. So I went back to Dr Kovak to help fix the issue. I did my own research into successful treatments for atrophy and came across many studies on saline injections that reverse the atrophy over time by diluting the steriod crystals that prevent the fat tissue from regenerating. Dr. Kovak was concerned that I had steriod put in my face and he said you may need filler to fill the area because it may be permanent but he would be willing to try the saline injections first that I asked about... he suggested 3 times once a month. The studies I read they used a protocol of 1 time a week 4 to 6 times and when I mentioned that to Dr the next time I saw him and He said okay! Let's do it! He clearly cares about and listens to his patients and he doesn't have that large ego you're used to seeing with very successful Drs like him. I love this man, we need more Drs like him in the world. So far, I've had 3 saline injections and the indentation is getting less and less. The dr noticed it changing too. I am blessed to have found him. I saw a review that compared oak brook terrace to villa Park and she sounds sad. Hopefully she gets help with that delusion and finds a dr that's more her vibration and I don't envy that person. Thank you Dr Kovak, I'll only come to you when I try for fillers again. So blessed to have found you.

Gave them a try again, the charge per area not per unit, no matter how little or how much you get you will be charged by the area, at my two week mark I still had movement in my face so I came back for a touch up and they tried to charge me for the touch up, even though you can't pay per unit. I am under the impression that if you charge by area and need a touch up then you shouldn't be charged. It's completely laughable. I will never come here again.
