Sharonda went above and beyond to help us navigate his discharge. Dallas was funny, kind, caring and went above and beyond his job description to accommodate our needs. Tucker was my father in laws favorite employee. He made him feel safe, loved. My father in law said he needs to go to nursing school bc he would make an outstanding nurse. He truly cares for his residents. Sherry was so helpful. Every single employee we encountered was exceptional. If we needed anything someone was available to see to our needs. I cant say enough good things about the facility. And once my father in law was discharged home. Sharonda and Dallas personally drove him home and got us all set up and showed us what to do. Please don't think badly of me but my previous experiences with convalescent centers/nursing homes had mostly been fair to worse. The predominant odor was stake cigarette smoke and most likely coming ftom the staff since everywhere I could see were No Smoking signs posted! The employees I interacted with courteous and helpful. After signing in and answering the obligatory questions regarding my COVID-19 status I was allowed to wheel my friend outside to visit. The patio section was small but did function as intended. My friend informed me that she was very pleased with the care and treatment received here. Also said the meals were much better than across town in her previous site. Overall she gave Oakview a good rating and in my brief time there can only concur!

I found Dr. Evelyn three years ago and I have returned her at least five times. I felt more than comfortable with her and her staff. The office atmosphere is very nice I didn't feel like I was in a doctors office. I drive over an hour to get to her. I could drive 15 minutes away to one that excepts my insurance but choose not to. Instructions sent w paperwork included driving through their drive-thru to drop off paperwork, etc., but the 'drop-off' window was not clearly marked and I drove past it, then had to call them.....ugh. It's bad enough that with the current situation of Covid, we have to wait in our cars to be allowed IN. THIS will pass. I'm glad that I arrived 15 minutes early. Once allowed in is where the staff members showed their lack-of-interest attitude. That's always a red flag to me, and this experience was no different. While waiting in the exam room, I noticed the baseboard along the walls was missing - apparently due to flooding. I don't know when the flooding occurred, but in a doctor's office this is not exactly a comforting sight. Once Lacy Boyd examined me and we discussed the issues (took all of 5-7 minutes), I received 2 different RX's, one of which is too expensive (I am self-pay/no insurance), but wasn't told the cost until I called the pharmacy. I will have to go without that one. This is sad, not only that people cannot afford RXs but that I wasn't informed about the cost of the more expensive one, more importantly, the doctor associated with this practice is charging what she charges - UNaware that the rest of us are not in the same financial bracket as she is. The least she could do is FIX the baseboards, and re-train her staff! Upon checking out I was absolutely HORRIFIED at the office visit COST!!! NEVER ever have I paid this amount for an office visit! This practice was referred to me by a friend and sadly it did not pan out for me. I won't be going to my follow up appt either. Look elsewhere folks! OH! Keep the religious paraphernalia to yourselves. I was insulted!

They were able to fit me in within two days and are very reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tack. He took my concerns serious, listened very well, gave great advice, and most of all, provided excellent treatment for the low cost. He went above and beyond what I was expecting.
