Atlas financial servi've been stealing from my bank for almost 2 years. And I just found it out today when I get a message and they send me a ledger of everything they have charged my bank and when I told them that I had canceled the subscription, not even 20 4:00 after I started the 7 day free trial. And even though I haven't been in that account since that day, in 2 years, they're not only refusing to give me my money, but they're taunting me online and Daring me to do whatever it is, I have to do to get my money back. And they're not even denying that they stole it from me and that they illegally obtained it fraudulently, they didn't even deny it. And then they tell me that I better have proof even after I just told them that there's customer services was slow enough to not pay attention to what they were doing, and they sent me all. The ledgers that I needed To not just press criminal charges, but to file a laws. Uit and they're still refusing to just rightfully return every penny. They took they think it's funny. They think there's nothing that can happen to them when they steal from people when they don't shut down the account when they've been told to buy the customer and then left it open to bleed the customer drive. And then they think it's funny. I need all the help I can get. And I've got every bit of evidence and I've got the 2 years worth of proof even they, at times had said in their Gmail there, shut my account down over the past 2 years and never did they just kept opening it. The second that money would hit my bank. They would my account would go from closed to open again without me doing it. So there's any lawyers out there I need you. Tes it's easy to get started. Then they screw you. I opted to close my account to not deal with their scam. They were polite at first after that request was made, even told me I would be refunded the $23.99 that was deducted from my bank account. I graciously agreed. I have been attempting to get ahold of their help line for months now in regards to my account. When we submitted an offer to be accepted with one of our credit card companies, atlas had me sign paperwork over the phone via email, but a week later I opened the app and saw that the offer had been "Declined." Without my permission, they allowed my payment information to be changed, and stopped charging me my regular monthly payments to settle my debt. I have not been charged in almost 3 months and have been setting aside money to pay them whenever I hear back. Whenever I communicate with them via email because I spend 2-3 hours on hold each time I call, I receive a response, but it simply tells me that they cannot help me over email, and that I should "call at my earliest convenience". read more

Working with atlas has been horrible. They told me it would take a few months to settle my debt it has been a year and only one debt has been settled of course its the smallest of my 4. I knew my credit would be mildly affected, however I was under the impression they would negotiate the interest and lump my payments into one payment. I have been paying 500 for a year. Not only was I sent to collections but one of my cards is now sueing me and threatening to garnish my wadges. Or come up with a huge amount of cash to settle. If I could have done that in the first place I would not have used credit cards. I called atlas they told me quote " you're screwed and we cannot help you". I am going to try and withdraw from their program and negotiate with my creditors on my own. Do not use their services. They will screw you. Horrible agency, they only called me once regarding a 2 year old dental bill with Infinity Dental Care. They never sent me any letters referencing said account. And now I'm being sued for $165. I absolutely refuse to pay any court fees because of their unfair collecting practices. I will pay Infinity in full, as I cannot afford to take off work and I refuse to give these low life scammers any of my hard earned money. To sue someone over $165 is asinine and outright ridiculous. Collection agencies are nothing but vultures only on the hunt for poor people's money. Second, besides the initial first call, I never received any phone calls, voice mails, or any letters. Third, I look up my name and Atlas Financial Services in the Oregon Judicial System to see when my "court date" would be and nothing comes up. I also recieved a call from someone claiming to be from the Multnomah County Civil Process Unit, but it showed up as an unknown number which is strange because it would show up as Multnomah County and not unknown. This institution is suing me for a vehicle I sold over 2 years ago, stating I did not notify the DMV. I followed the note of law and DID notify DMV by phone at time of sale. The buyer abandoned the vehicle and it ended up getting towed by Speeds Towing, which NEVER notified me and then referenced to Atlas Financials but Atlas have stated I must have the DMV, a state agency, admit they made a mistake to not be obligated for debt. This company is terrible, I freely called them to let them know I just returned to work and want to work out something to pay the past due balance that I know I owe. I explained to the person I talked to I was still under a 90 day probation period on my job and that I didn't need a garnishment on my file. Atlas didn't care, they notified my employer and did not care about the negative impact such would have on my employment, not to mention this is the very first job I was offered in almost 2 years. They are terrible. I attempted contact, but still they go behind your back and use what you say to them against you. So if you have business with them, stay as far away as you can because they will use the information you provide to use against you. If you enter in to a payment arrangement with this company, DO NOT give them authorization to automatically deduct from your account. They will tell you that they understand it is illegal to withdraw funds from your account without your authorization, but when you end the automatic deductions, they will continue to try to withdraw from your account. DO NOT trust what the representatives of this collection service tell you. I wish I could give this place zero stars. For a number of years, I was a patient of the Portland Clinic, LLC. While undergoing treatment for my mild traumatic brain injury, my primary care provider recommended an elective procedure that would help me improve my sleep, which would assist the treatment program prescribed by my specialist. As expected, I filled out a bunch of paperwork, including a pre-authorization form, so that the clinic could submit the procedure for approval / coverage, and then I went home. After a period of time, the clinic phoned to schedule the appointment, saying that the procedure had been approved by the insurance. I had the procedure (didn't end up helping), and when I received the statement of benefits report from my insurance, I was informed it was not covered. The clinic then sent me a bill. I contested it because I'd only had the procedure because I'd been told it was covered. (I've since learned my lesson about relying on providers to do pre-authorizations for me, and I now do them myself.) Though my mental faculties were not what they are now, due to the brain injury, I attempted to work with the clinic to figure out what had happened and what could be done about it. The representatives in the billing department were not interested in that. Instead, I was dismissed as a patient and handed over to a collections company. I've since tried to work with the collections company -- another horrible organization by the name of Atlas Financial Services -- and they are also unwilling to negotiate. Rather than come to some sort of compromise, I've been served with notice that I'm being taken to small claims court. This is not the first "collections" company I've had to deal with as a result of having been out of work while recuperating. Atlas Financial Services (and Nationstar Mortgage) were the only two that were NOT willing to work with me to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. I'm going to give them one more try, but this place is horrible. If you are a business and are contracting out with a vendor like this, please consider your brand. I'm thinking about calling FOX 12 or KOIN to tell them about my experience. As a PR person, I can tell you that they would leap onto this opportunity to advocate for consumers. read more

I have just started dealing with this company, and they deserve a NEGATIVE star rating. A parking violation on a car I sold TWO YEARS AGO, that I am not legally responsible for under current Oregon State Law, was sent to Atlas Financial for collections. I called Atlas to dispute the charge and reached Cassandra, who talked OVER me the entire time, saying "ma'am, we've been doing this for several years and we know the law". But they don't! They don't know the law, and they're not interested in knowing the law. When I offered to READ her the law, to SEND THE INFORMATION that clearly states I am not responsible? I take responsibility for what I owe and have no problem with that even if it was a misunderstanding with the orignal creditor. This place is a joke. They turned a $400 dollar medical bill into a $900+ bill with all the fees. I set up a payment schedule and 3 months of making payments I receive a letter saying Im getting my wages garnished. So because of that they added even more fees. Watch your back with this shady company. They claim I was one day late on a payment because of the weekend and it not posting the same day. I'm not writing this review for peers, I'm writing this to any company or firm that might consider contracting this unbelievably unscrupulous firm to handle your collections. The person, Jessica, whom I spoke to in their office was far from professional to say the least. As a result, I would say the same as everybody else, they are not deserving of the single star I am giving them, but it's the lowest option possible. Here is a what my situation encompassed. My experience was in the course of them attempting to serve me with some legal papers. They showed up at my residence when only my minor daughter under the age of 14 was home alone. I was out of town on business, and she was being cared for by a family friend, not yet home from work, as this was about 4pm. They started beating on the door aggressively, several times, commanding my daughter through the window to open the door immediately, as it was required by law and ordered by a judge ( they made this reference repeatedly ). They represented themselves as law enforncement or an officer of the court to intimidate and coerce my minor daughter into allowing them access to the residence under the false perception that she was required to do so under law. They demanded her personal information in the form of her full legal name and age. She of course being a scared child home alone, exeggerated her age out of fear, hoping to present as less vulnerable by being older. Not knowing they just wanted to be able to say she was 14 to constitue a "legal" service. She is in fact not 14 and I very much have a birth certificate to confirm her age and verify she was in fact a minor under the age of 14 that they forced an illegal document service on with no adults present. What is really the most condemning judgement of their actions and professional character was the immediate termination of Atlas by the clinic that had contracted them in reaction to being advised of the tactics and behavior that Atlas Financial services was displaying. One scroll through the other reviews on this page, and you'll see just how typical this behavior is for them. I contacted Jessica in Atlas' office to advise her directly as to what had taken place, and she had zero concern at all with the behavior I described, and instead just immediately got quite rude and hung up on me. Well, Jessica, you already know by now who my next call was to... and needless to say, I won't be hearing from you or your firm again. As a result I would hope your firm decides to class it up a bit, as that type of conduct and behavior absolutely isn't acceptable, and when you cross someone with the means to call you on it, this is the result, you loose your contract. I hope it continues to happen every time you cross that ethical line. You should be ashamed, but somehow I doubt you are.. as, if you were, there wouldn't be so many reviews with the same unacceptable negative experience. I'd strongly caution you to make a much smarter business choice and by all means.. DO NOT CONTRACT OR ALIGN YOUR FIRM WITH THE LIKES OF ATLAS FINANCIAL SERVICES. This is mostly a review for JESSICA who works for Atlas. Portland Clinic sent my account to Atlas for debt collection and I did ignore the calls from them, wrong, yes I know. But I received a summons for a small claims case after a few months of their phone calls, nothing ever received in writing through the mail. I eventually got tired of stressing it and called to try to come to an agreement to help my credit score, as well, before the court mediation appointment. I spoke to JESSICA and she had tacked on an extra $100 to the amount owed! WTF? I asked how this had happened within a couple of months on an original debt of $176. Fees! Well, fees had already been added to amount requested in court summons statement. I said I would get back to them about it and then decided to go to mediation. Went to mediation today and the guy that showed up to represent Atlas gave me an amount owing of $100 less than JESSICA had given! Had JESSICA been honest and agreed to the CORRECT amount owing, it would have been resolved and no mediation required for me...or them! BE CAREFUL when dealing with JESSICA that she doesn't add on extra fees to line her pocket! Go to mediation and deal with someone more reasonable! The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars is because the guy at mediation was reasonable and easy to deal with. read more

Just found out that they sued and got a judgement without my knowing for a credit card from 10-11 years ago and now they are trying(successfully) to garnish my whole paycheck from a seasonal position. They say the original amount owed was $1000 when they bought it 2 years ago and the judgement is for $3900+, they also trolled my credit over 33 times in the last 24 months and have destroyed the positive credit that took me so long to get! Going to see a lawyer on Monday. I refuse to work for free!!! The representative treated me like I was a horrible deadbeat and that a piece of garbage on the ground was better than I was! Told them my family member would pay them as soon as possible as they are currently unemployed and don't have the funds available right away. Been paying off an old medical bill. Found it on my credit report, they do rack up interest but also the bill had to been over 6 years old. I take personal responsibility for the bill and the person I am dealing with is really nice. I was able to make payments, granted they aren't tiny but at least there is an option. I've been out of work for two years due to an injury and she fully understood my issues. I've learned to be honest with companies and they tend to be understanding. My husband and I want to build our credit to eventually buy a house( have y'all seen rent these days?). I found this charge on credit karma which has also been a helpful tool to help us repair our credit. I gave them three stars only because the payments are a little high. read more

Absolutely ridiculous company. I received a letter from them in today's mail regarding a parking ticket I had lost and forgotten about, and of course called immediately to pay it so that it doesn't effect my credit. I called within an hour of receiving the letter, and the woman on the phone quoted me 5 cents more than the letter said I owed. I told her about the discrepancy, wanting to make sure they had the correct account information, and she said that was interest I've been charged. Seriously? There was literally no way I could have called to pay faster, and they were already trying to rack up any extra penny they can. -11000 stars --- This complaint is for the rudeness that continued with the company itself and representative Jessica. Tow company out of woodburn, failed to do their job, and turned an account paid over to Atlas financial. I have never received calls from them or paperwork. Their hired civil service, RPBS, came to my home at 848 pm on a Thursday, was rude to my kid and didn't even leave a card to call back. I found out what was being served and called the tow company who promptly called Atlas on Friday and spoke to McKenzie and said this was in error and asked them to stop. The tow company faxed over documents to them Friday afternoon, Monday, Tuesday and again Wednesday. All faxes were confirmed received. Wednesday Tasha called my work from their servers department, and I told her she needed to check in with Atlas, they have received the paper work and this was false to have been filed. She said she would come to my home. Thursday, one of their representatives, Brent showed up to my place of employment and disrupted business citing statues and being rude. He was told I was not in the office, and he proceeded to sit and wait for almost 2 hours. I ended up speaking to him on the phone and advised him I was working from home and to bring them to me there OR call to Atlas and confirm this was a mistake. He did neither. Atlas filed the dismissal letter early in the AM on the 11th of April, hours ahead of Tasha calling me or Brent showing up to my office on the 12th. I called on the 13th to obtain the contact information to file a complaint against Brent and them. Jessica was rude and said its RPBS and I can Google it. She would not provide an address, number or anything to help with filing the complaint on their civil servants behavior nor on their false judgment they entered. I was sent to court after i had contacted them and tried to wet up payments. they wanted me to pay off a debit in three months. they got the debit from Portland Clinic and sat on it for over an year without contacting me. I have asked over and over for a statement to be mailed to me and they refuse to do that saying go to are website and see how much you owe, you cant find the info on there webpage. I have 4 accounts with Atlas Financial from PORTLAND CLINIC. One account paid in full 2015, 2 that I can make payments on at free will and one that has a garnish writ of $1,xxx.xx. I made calls today starting with ARB which whom is handling the garnish writ, inquiring with them just to double check on things as I am in prep to take care of my business, and approach matters more responsibly. ( young at one point, lack of knowledge)The rep with ARB informed me that my new current balance was 809.00 and that my last payment for the garnish writ would be 8/26/18. I then call Atlas Financial to confirm and make sure my ends are coming together, and on my call with the rep she seemed a little confused as to what was going on with my accounts. Being that I ask thorough questions, it caused the rep to further delve into my concerns to get correct answers. Come to find out, Atlas Financial is missing money that has been taken out from the garnish writ ARB, they just haven't received the check! NOT ONLY THAT, BUT the payments that were being made had been posted to INACTIVE ACCOUNTS FOR GARNISH!!!! Hello, this is a serious error, I am not willing to be garnished again. My rep was very nice, and patient. She even did calculations furthermore to arrive to those findings. I was patient with her and displayed that although things were hairy, I can and will remain professional. It helps because she will be looking into it so that we may get to the bottom of things. Along with this call today she gave honest advice on how not to be subjected to further garnish writs for my inactive accounts. I appreciated the knowledge. shout out to Jessica, AND Cassandra for what I perceive as a straight forward approach on handling your business, correcting your mistakes and gaining knowledge on how to get out of clasp with this collection company. I called to get a simple statement sent to me as I am trying to get my fiances in order and he (a man named Patrick) REFUSED to give me a statement of what I owe. He said the original debtor sent me statements and I obviously didn't pay it off so he is not going to waste his time. I asked him how am I supposed to pay this debt and get my fiances in order so that I could pay the debt and he told me its not his problem and the only thing he will send to me is papers when I get served.
