Compassion, compassion, compassion! Initiating the process was easy through their online form. When your father is dying it is hard to talk on the phone and keep it together so I appreciated the online form. Then when he passed away I called to let Atlantis know and they were so kind over the phone. Even though in my mind I know it is a business and they could be excusably callous because they do this day in and day out, they WEREN'T. They made me feel supported and they had a very empathetic touch. They arrived at the house in the middle of the night to pick up my father 90 minutes after I had called. This actually allowed us some quiet time with my dad which actually felt just right. The two men that picked up my father were so kind and I could see the compassion in their eyes. They didn't rush anything. They wanted to make sure that we had enough time with my dad before he left the house for the very last time. This is the strangest review I've ever written but I highly recommend Atlantis Cremations. It felt like your kind neighbor was helping you through your greatest time of need. And I couldn't believe the pricing. I had always heard on commercials and things that you should plan on spending $6k -$8k for funeral expenses. Granted, this is just a cremation which is a fraction of the cost of a whole funeral, but with COVID-19 we plan on celebrating my father next summer instead of having a funeral service so it was just what we needed. read more

My father passed very unexpectedly and after a lot of research my mother and I chose to go with Atlantis. Following submission of the initial online forms we were immediately contacted by the staff who further explained the process and did so with such compassion and professionalism. We ended up working directly with Keila and THANK GOODNESS we did. We encountered various issues with the physician signing the death certificate, including a delay of 2 weeks! Every day Keila stayed in constant communication us, updating us and reassuring us that she was on top of it. She escalated the issue without delay and truly was an advocate for my father and my family. Throughout the entire process, Keila showed us so much kindness, compassion, consideration and professionalism. She answered every time we reached out and on the days when we couldn't hold the tears back, she hung on the line and supported us. Never were we rushed off the phone or brushed off. Keila made us feel as if we were their only client, their only grieving family. Atlantis truly operates with the highest level of integrity, honor, respect, compassion and kindheartedness in what they do. That was made especially clear by Keila and my family and I are forever grateful and thankful for her! read more

They were half the price when comparing them to the place my sister used for my father. On a sunny warm day I did not expect to lose my husband. :( It happened so suddenly and we were all so devastated and in shock. The last thing I or my family had the energy for was to plan the cremation and deal with the hospital morgue. The Organ Donor organization recommended Altlantis and I am so glad that they did. We did everything via the website and they called to confirm what was ordered. They got in touch with the hospital and handled everything. They answered all our questions and were extremely professional. We received the ashes as requested along with the death certificates that were ordered. During this hellish time, this company delivered in so many ways. We could have been taken advantage of as I was in a vulnerable state but they did not do that. Their process was easy, stress free, very inexpensive compared to other places with great customer service. All of this was such a blessing during this time. TIP: If you do everything online, check your junk/spam folder for a response and add them to your safe list as you may have to electronically sign some additional documents. read more

Unfortunately, I found our family in need of a crematorium for a family member. During these Covid times it is not possible to hold a viewing or funeral. After some serious investigating on price and services, we chose Atlantis. We are so very happy and thankful we did!! Kalah at Atlantis understood the importance of having proper attention and handling of our loved one. I was kept informed and up to date on all the procedures. Every call was received with caring and thoughtful results. We felt so comfortable with the expertise and thoughtfulness of Atlantis, from hospital to bringing her home for the final time, the care couldn't have been better. There are cheaper places, but the level of care and attitudes change drastically. Atlantis, and Kalah in particular, thank you again for handling us with kid gloves, but I believe that is the service everyone receives. We have Marianne home again, and hope to some day have the Celebration of Life, she so deeply deserves! read more

During the most difficult days of our lives, finding Atlantis Simple Cremations was a blessing. The price For the cremation was extremely affordable. The price quoted was the price without any additional or Hidden costs. The simplicity of the online registration was a pleasure during this difficult time. My family had been through so much the past 7 weeks with both my parents in the hospital at the same time with covid. Unfortunately our father did not survive. The sincere caring of the funeral Director Keila was up and beyond amazing. She was in constant contact with us every step of the way. The feeling that she genuinely cared about our loss and grief was extremely comforting and helped To keep us grounded. The urn that we purchased separately was absolutely beautiful, packaged securely and delivered in more than a timely fashion. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my family and our dad. Eternally grateful, Carmella Collins and family. read more

Could not more highly recommend Keila and Atlantis. My father fell ill and passed away within a short time span, so we were scrambling to find cremation services that were both quality and affordable. We found a great package with Atlantis and took the plunge. Glad to say it was a perfect choice. My mom felt so at ease talking to Keila (thank goodness she is bilingual!) and left the location feeling as though my dad was in the right hands. She gave us resources on how to move forward with the logistics that no one really ever warns you about, like how to close credits cards and where to start when dealing with the Social Security office. Finalizing cremation arrangements can be a scary process with the wrong people, but Keila and Atlantis made us feel safe and secure throughout it all. Thank you SO MUCH for the work you do. We felt like we were able to give our dad the goodbye he wanted thanks to you. read more

Since i work in a funeral home up north i know the process is pretty straight forward, removal, cremation and return. Really no need to sit with a funeral director when no viewing is involved. I called funeral homes in the area and some were double, others were near double the price for the exact same service. We are arranging for a memorial mass ourselves and memorial prayer cards can be obtained from an online company, again no need for a funeral director to get involved. Cremain urns can also be purchased online. If you're not comfortable transferring the ashes from cremation container to the urn find someone who is or call a funeral home and they should, if they're smart, do it for you. The process was seamless. Questions were answered immediately. Completion was sooner than expected. Staff was both caring and professional. Highly recommend Atlantis. read more

While on a cruise my husband became ill and was air lifted to a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, where he passed away in early Jan. There I was, all by myself in an unfamiliar hospital ; all I wanted to do was get home to my family in the Midwest. Both my husband and I had agreed to be cremated -- but in our home city. Now I needed someone to help in Ft. Lauderdale. The first crematory I called didn't answer and said they would call back within 24 hours. That wasn't going to work. I called Atlantis, who answered quickly; and Kelly helped me through the easy process of completing the necessary paperwork and submit payment -- all on line within a few minutes. It was so easy and I didn't have to leave the hospital. They were very supportive in the days to follow also. I highly recommend Atlantis Crematory! read more

When my Mother passed away unexpectedly there were more questions than answers. If a family member passes, and there aren't explicit directions left in place or pre-arrangements made in advance, it can be difficult to know what to do and how to do it. Atlantis Simple Cremations made the entire ordeal easy from the very first phone call. I dealt with one representative, Jill during my several phone calls. She was compassionate and patient and above all professional. From the very first phone call, Jill and Atlantis Simple Cremations extended kindness and respect for my family and my Mother. Even when things got confusing along the way, Jill and ASC helped bring it back to easy. It really is all in the name "simple", which they made it for me and my family. I recommend them without reservation. read more

My Mom passed away last week and specified she wanted to be cremated. My friend and I researched companies and found Atlantis . They have been exceptional! They picked up my Mother's body from Hospice in the middle of the night . They answered all of my questions as I was afraid to disclose sensitive information and reassured me that they are connected to the Department of Health . They have a crematorium on location. I was able to order all of the death certificates from them . They even notified Social Security. I received my Mom's ashes and the certificates within a week . Usually the process takes 2-3 weeks . I am sooo grateful for their kind and compassionate service . They were also 1/2 of the cost of other cremation companies ! read more

Atlantis made everything simple, as all the forms you need to fill out are sent to you in email. I called several times with questions and was always greeted by an understanding sympathetic voice on the other end. I live in West Palm Beach, so they are a bit of a distance from me, so that was the only drawback. To be fair, I did have the option of having my dad's remains sent to me via USPS (it might have been Fed Ex--- don't remember which it was) but I opted to pick up my dad's ashes along with his death certificates. An associate greeted me at my car and handed me everything I needed with great care. Like I said, it was quick and easy. I would highly recommend their services. read more

my mom died unexpectedly during the middle of the night. I looked up crematory services on line near me. Atlantis was only a mile away. I called them and they came within an hour. From the minute they arrived the whole process was done with the utmost consideration for me and my grief and my mom's body. They literally took care of everything for me. I filled out some information on line and that was all there was for me to do except to pick up her ashes. Also the value was incredibly reasonable compared to other such facilities. I highly recommend Atlantis for the quality and care of their services to say nothing of the cost efficiency of their service. Thank you so much. read more

from beginning to the end, the service with Atlantis Cremation, for my beloved husband, was very caring and accommodating during my time of grief. I had my friend check on the website for the best price for cremation, and found Atlantis Cremation. Once the application was completed, then Angela promptly showed up who was the removal specialist. She was excellent in carrying out the rest of the job in a very dignified way. Jill was another caring employee who was very efficient in having the paper work and death certificates ready to go. so you had teamwork with an excellent staff, which did an excellent job. Thank you for all the support during this time of sorrow. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Atlantis Simple Cremation. it is a difficult enough time when a loved one transitions but then one has to deal with the rest of the "stuff". the entire staff at Atlantis made this part of the process so incredibly smooth and painless for my family. From the moment Jill answered the phone, I knew this was going to be one of easiest parts of all I had to do after my husband passed. What a great person. Friendly, sympathetic, compassionate, helpful, and just a pleasure to talk with. Her personality earned her my business almost instantly. She is one of those rare people that knows how to connect with you and make it seem like you are sitting with a friend just talking through it instead of dealing with a business. I feel like a found a great, down to earth person I would like to call a friend! Like they say, "when one door closes another opens"... read more

I made my first and only call and was sold. Jillian, was informative and sensitive. After speaking to her, I did not need to inquire further. She made the process as smooth as possible given the circumstances. Yes, you may find a place to save a couple of bucks, however, the attention and professional I received is worth so much more than I paid. Jillian, I hope the spelling of your name is correct. Even if not, know that I appreciate you and all your efforts through this difficult time. I highly recommend Atlantis to all who is in need of services! Many thanks! Ana read more

I greatly appreciate the services rendered by Jill and staff. They were so gentle with my Papa that words can not explain the gratitude we have for them. The process was clearly clearly done but with so much discretion especially knowing you why we were there. Everyone gently handled my Papa with care. The heart aches and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but the staff truly gave above and beyond professional care. If given the opportunity again I would use Atlantis Simple Cremations again. Thank you and God Bless you all. read more

I have had previous experience with cremations in different states and this was the best experience of all. Great website with all the information you need on line. A couple of quick phone calls to confirm was all that was needed. Everyone was kind, patient, and professional. Their services were expedient and they kept me informed every step of the process from beginning to end which was a total of 6 days from purchasing on line to delivery of the remains to my home. I will definitely use them again and recommend to others. read more
