What a huge disappointment!
Wanted to get a bite to eat…read morewhile people watching. There were two seats open outside so my boyfriend and I sat. There were three waiters rushing about and looking through us. After a good five minutes, my boyfriend was able to get one's attention. We ordered a non-alcohol beer and a sparkling water and a menu.
At the table next to us, three people sat. The waiter brought us a menu and ignored the three. I ordered a cheese burger, since I saw others eating them. Still, the waiter ignored the people next to us. They gave up and left. An elderly couple replaced them at the table.
The elderly man literally stood in the way of a waiter to get his attention. They wanted coffee and cakes. The waiter either didn't understand them or pretended not to understand them. My boyfriend speaks Spanish and attempted to help. The waiter pretended not to understand him!?!
My cheeseburger arrived and had a different taste. My boyfriend ate the accompanying fries. Something was obviously not right with the burger as 30 minutes later, I had horrible indigestion. Oh, and by the time we paid, the elderly couple still had not gotten their coffee and cakes!
The only thing good about Central Cafe is the view. The service is rude. The food is horrible.
