Was recently an inpatient. CLOSE IT DOWN…read more Patient techs on a power trip Dr's and nurses cold and condescending. Inconsiderate, noisy. Biased dr making biased diagnosis. Couldn't get important meds due to delays, and when I spoke up, I was told by MD that I should have more empathy for staff. The WORST hospital.

Well just a big disappointment, my daughter has a chronic illness. Been to the ER hundreds of times…read moresince 2015. She has aged out of our health ins because she is no longer in college and 27. She now has Horizon Nj Health. Because she cannot work due to illness. I took her to AtlantiCare Hammonton ER Dec 29, nurses couldn't get the vein for fluids and bloodwork due to dehydration. She has a gastroparesis flare up for 3 days Now. Nurses Said sorry, she cried....we left. No treatment. Took her to AtlantiCare Mainland ER last night, waited 5 hours, triaged, then sent back out to the waiting room. Still throwing up, elevated heart rate. ....We left, no treatment. Today, still dehydrated and vomiting. She returned to AtlantiCare Hammonton ER. She was triaged and returned to waiting room for almost 3 hours. Watched many people go before her. I called the nurses station and explained she is very ill and I was afraid she was going to leave. Jen, who answered the phone said "we don't know how long the wait will be we are busy". I explained she has been trying to be seen for 3 days now and is having abnormal heart rate. She said her heart rate was not 140 anymore so. It was 115. For hours it has been racing. ......We left, no treatment. Yet when she had commercial insurance her wait time was usually much less? She always received treatment. AtlantiCare, you need to do better! We love our AtlantiCare Doctors offices but the ERs are just ridiculous.

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recent interaction I had with a staff…read moremember named Lana at your office. On my initial call with Lana, I explained that I would not be able to pay my deductible until July, as my appointment took place in March, and we are still in June. Although her tone was unprofessional during that conversation, she acknowledged my statement and indicated that it was acceptable. However, on June 13th, I received a voicemail from Lana again inquiring about the payment. When I called the office to follow up, the receptionist began to repeat my message when Lana interrupted rudely, demanding to know my name. Upon identifying myself, she abruptly took the phone and spoke to me in a hostile and disrespectful manner. She insisted she would charge my card, despite not having a copy of it, and when I reminded her of our previous conversation, she shouted, "So I have to wait?" I confirmed, and she continued to speak to me in a demeaning and aggressive tone. I found this behavior to be not only unprofessional but also completely inappropriate. I was shocked by the level of disrespect and lack of courtesy shown to me, especially considering I had already communicated my payment timeline. It is unacceptable for any patient or client to be treated in such a manner. After this experience, I investigated reviews of your facility and noticed that similar complaints have been made by others. This pattern of behavior is concerning and reflects poorly on your practice. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately. No one should be subjected to such treatment, and I trust that steps will be taken to ensure respectful and professional communication moving forward. I've never seen anything like this. This worker continues to harass me when the bill was already paid. Obviously she doesn't have enough work. Who texts a patient from their private phone? Very unprofessional and extremely inappropriate. Lana I'll see you in court.

She said since coughing have to do Covid test. She said $75 and no insurance covers it. Then she hands me 7 pages to fill out and tells me to wait between glass doors. It was 12 degrees out and there with no heat. I said that is unacceptable they would put anyone outside to wait in 12 degree, especially all that come in are sick. no masks available either. Just go outside and wait. I sat and was so cold. I went in, got my $75 back and insurance cards and left. Never ever will go there again. Somehow I am reporting them. smh urgent care???
