It is located in the newer developed area by the Best Western Hotel. Outside of Atlantic Canada, the store is called The Real Canadian Superstore, which is kind of a funny name, but coming from Ontario, that's what I know it as, lol. They are owned by Loblaws and they sell President's Choice and No Name products. I didn't really see anything there that was different from my local Superstore at home, which was kind of disappointing for me because when I'm away from home I like to browse supermarkets for local and regional products. I guess The Superstore is very corporate and all stores are pretty much the same. So from a tourist point of view, I was disappointed, but if I was a local living in Liverpool, I think I would love the Superstore because it's big, bright, and modern looking, and prices are good. Lots of free parking on site.

The guy in line behind me litterally breathed ON MY NECK then had the audacity to mock me when I told him the government recommends we stay six feet from each other and he kept inching up on me and the woman I was trying to distance myself from in front of me. When I stepped to the side of the line as he refused to keep his distance, the cashier starts arguing that I cut in line because I came from the side, I had to tell her four separate times that I didn't cut in line, loudly. No customers were concerned, but she took it upon herself to shame me in front of other people. I guess they have a rule where the cashiers don't have to give out their names, so I asked to speak with the manager. The cashier refused to respond to my questions, locked her cash and walked over to the managers office. I'll be writing head office. Vanessa has a real attitude that needs to be adjusted. You can't work in customer service and straight up pick fights with people.

He reported that the store setup seemed weird to him and he spent a lot of time looking for the maple cookies. Cashier was friendly, he just thought the layout of the store was confusing. Hard to comment about the prices because of currency in Canadian and we are from US so everything seems so much cheaper. Posted sign says 2 - 24 pk water for $5. That would be $3.66 U.S. Dollar! Foodland is associated with Sobeys, so it carries the Our Compliments line of house brand products, and it also gives Air Miles, which I love.
