We've been trying out the Atlantic Superstore in Bridgewater, NS., for the last little while because, mainly, we were impressed with their deli and salad and fruit trays ready to go. The store is nice, well laid out, bright and welcoming. However..... yesterdays check out at the till was a totally different experience. Cashier's name: Jordan. Just a horrible, nasty thing. Obviously did not want to be there. Was unhelpful (as I'm stretching across the conveyor to reach something that had rolled away from me and that she was only 6 inches away from but couldn't be bothered to hand it to me). From that moment on it went downhill. She was surly, disrespectful and when my husband tried to make light of the moment, he was met with a scowl and ignored. There are 2 impressions that a company can make on a customer. The first impression... which was good... and the last impression, which is the one that is remembered the most and if it's bad then that negates the 1st impression. The cashier can either make or break the impression that a customer has on the store. She definitely ruined the 1st impression. If this visit had ended with her being cheerful and helpful, this rating would have been 5 star....... read more
