Sandra was a ray of sunshine in the midst of a rainy afternoon, providing shelter and sustenance to our travel weary group. I loved the layout of the rooms; each bearing the name of a famous Irish author. There were books by and pictures of the author and in the general housekeeping booklet, there was a brief history of them as well. I was upstairs in the W.B. Yates room. The large slanted windows allowed natural light to fill the room and show off the colours and design of the decor. The bed was spacious, and extremely comfortable, and the down comforter valiantly fought of the cold that was trying to creep into my bones. I also loved the bathroom area; quaint and modern at the same time. When we had rested and gotten the lay of the land from Sandra, we enjoyed some time playing chess and relaxing. It felt as though we were in a home away from home. This is the house that I would have built and decorated if I decided to live with some of my best friends in Ireland. In your room, you could pre-order what you wanted for breakfast in addition to the continental breakfast buffet that was available. You could list the time you wanted breakfast and the dish, and just show up downstairs in the morning. I ordered the melted cheese and toast, eggs and bacon. We were greeted in the morning with hot tea or coffee, while looking across the grasses all the way out to the waves crashing on the cliffs. On slightly warmer, less windy and rainy days, I think having breakfast outside would be quite the treat. I loved every minute of being at Doolin Views and was extremely gracious for Sandra's hospitality. My only regret was that we were only able to stay for one night, especially as the price was quite reasonable. It feels like the type of place where you could relax and fully recharge the batteries of your soul and make you ready to face the world. If your travels take you to Doolin, you would be well advised to spend some nights at Doolin Views.

It's a beautifully decorated, warm friendly house with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location is across the street from restaurants and a great pub (Fitzpatrick's) with pub food and trad music (other pub and eating options within easy walking distance). The breakfast was outstanding, served in a bright dining area with views; and the hosts were gracious and helpful. (Plenty of parking and free wifi.) From now on this will be our first choice for any future visits to Doolin.

I am sincerely regretting not taking a photo of our room to share...it was very clean, bright and nicely furnished. Everything seemed really up-to-date compared to other accommodation we had stayed in while in Ireland. A very comfortable bed and large windows (with nice thick curtains if you like to sleep in). Also, WIFI was nice and strong. The lodge is on the waterfront strip, near shops and restaurants. Easy to find, with plenty of parking space. The grounds are so green, with tons of flowers. Regrettably, tour buses seem to all park directly out front of the Pairc Lodge, but that's not the Lodge's fault...I think it's more of a testament to the good location. In the distance, you can catch a view of the Cliffs of Moher. To visit the Cliffs was maybe a 15-minute drive... We didn't eat breakfast upon leaving--so I can't comment on that aspect of the B&B. But, our hosts nevertheless offered toast and juice for our car trip. We highly recommend the Pairc Lodge!

We had a back room (and didn't miss the view because you see the Atlantic all the time in driving). We do take pm naps, so the back door did make noise whenever it closed. Not a big deal and maybe this review will encourage them to fix the spring! After sleeping on bad beds in Dublin? What a wonderful bed to finally achieve on a long journey. You will not regret booking at this property. Truly. Fabulous. Value.

I had little to no expectations for a BNB experience as I had never stayed in one before…read more After staying with Susan I imagine that this experience will set the bar to which I judge others in the future. The bnb itself is absolutely beautiful and very cozy. All the rooms come with their own ensuite bathroom and everything in the room itself is quite updated with little modern conveniences (she even included an outlet converter in case we needed another or if someone forgot theirs which was especially handy). She welcomed us with drinks (fantastic bailey's coffee for me, and a beer for my beau) and breakfast the next day was just fantastic -- I would recommend the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, but the omelette looks very delicious as well. If you're in Doolin you hands down have to book a stay with Susan.
