Recently, we had an issue with our pool pump and needed to have it replaced. The service team went above and beyond to help us out and get everything taken care of. They kept us informed, answered our questions, and made sure everything was working properly before they left. It was such a relief to have the issue handled so quickly and smoothly, especially before a holiday weekend. It's hard to find that kind of customer service these days, and I really appreciate knowing when something comes up with our pool. Thank you for taking such great care of us and our pool!

I am a landlord living in California with my rental property in Orange Park, FL, so needless to say peace of mind with a company is exactly what I want. The start up initial appointment was wonderful, Donald was very communicative through email and phone call. Fast forward two months and I receive a long text message from my tenants informing me the pool service has not been there in two months (my tenants are retired so they are home all day everyday to see that nobody has shown up) Thankfully my tenants were able to tend to the pool themselves although they should not have to seeing as a portion of their rent is meant to be spent on pool service. My tenant informs me she has called multiple times with no response, and I myself also have not received a response email to a chemical question from over a month ago (I assumed business & email is checked less than phone calls). So i call this afternoon to no response, I search vigorously online in search for another phone number other than Donald's cell phone.... nothing. Google reviews confirm my fears that many of his other customers have been "ghosted" while blinding paying for services that were not completed or done whatsoever. With no contact information available I am now forced to open a dispute fraudulent investigation against Donald Eldridge and OP Pool Services to get my $250 refunded back to me for the last two months of service not completed. Regardless of the reason for this company "ghosting" it is absolutely unacceptable for a company of 35 years to not inform it's customers of changes made resulting in services not completed. Not like you will be able to get ahold of anyone, but DO NOT sign up for this company's services. And if you have experienced this same problem I suggest you open up the dispute for any charges with your bank to get a refund because it doesn't look like this company has any plan to refund its customers.

In so doing, all I heard were complaints about most of the possible companies (specifically wait times & cleanliness.) Breakwater was THE ONLY company that I heard good things about. I gave them a call expecting the same answers that I had been getting from every other place I contacted. Man, was I surprised when I was quoted 6 weeks wait time as opposed to 12-18 months from other companies. After initial visit... it was literally 2 weeks and we were already picking colors, tiles, and pavers. Joe, the owner, made the entire process fun, not at all the headache I suspected! He was so down to earth! So REAL! Honest! Absolutely NO false promises! He kept his word with EVERY aspect of the process. His contractors were ALL just as courteous, through, and timely as Joe was! The yard was cleaned up each day that work occurred! Communication was great every step of the way!!! Even pool school was fun! We couldn't be happier with our pool! He measured for about 30 minutes and had many ideas on how to fix the current problem with the correct the pool deck and where The Pool shell had floated up out of the ground , leaving a 4 inch rise on one end and not on the other.They started about 4 1/2 weeks ago and they are finishing up the pavers today the pool looks brand new .I'm so glad that I went with Majestic. pools and I suggest if you're looking for someone to do your pool either a new construction or to re-design or update I would certainly go with Joe ATT Majestic. pools of Orange Park.

During the entire process, they never kept us informed with what was happening and you could never get in touch with the owner. It was not a pleasant experience. After six months there was a problem with a skimmer. We called five or six times over several weeks and got the run around. We eventually had to have someone else fix the problem. I contacted the pool installer to see if they could come give me tutorial on the equipment they installed but couldn't even get a call back. I contacted at-least 5 other pool companies for a tutorial/inspection and quote for weekly service. One told me to take pictures and come to their store (not helpful), 1 setup appointment but were no show. The other 3 wouldn't return calls or emails. First coast contacted me back within hours of my request and came out 2 days later. The owner was super friendly and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Ended up setting up a weekly service to get pool under control. I may end up taking it over myself once I understand it more but they are so friendly I may just keep the weekly service. They have been here twice now, pool is clean, equipment is working and provide a email service report each week with photo of pool, chemical readings and summary of the chemicals added and services rendered. Highly recommend this growing company if you need pool service!!
