They skirted phone calls for a good month claiming to have other customers or being on vacation. I told them the powder coating was not good. They said they would come spray paint it. The paint did not help and it is still rusting. I did not pay for spray painting, I paid for powder coating. Would not recommend to anyone. I now have to consult with another company to come fix their work.

I don't believe it's open to the public but from where we were standing we could just imagine the scene where they staged "Terminus" In case you weren't aware of this but the city of Atlanta's original name was Terminus which means "the end" in railroad terms...at least that's the urban myth out there anyway. What I heard through the grapevines the name was chosen as a tribute to the city of Atlanta for contributing to the success of the show. Again, just urban myths... The place is considered private property so if you're fangirling or fanboying around here just be super curious and respectful..because you know you don't want to end up on Homeland security's watch list and thrown into Guantanamo for years...just saying. Had my husband call from a different number and he called back and gave multiple excuses and when we told him we were reversing the charges on our cc, he went nuts, cursed us out and hung up on us. I really wanted to have a good experience with Defiant Engineering. Jeff, the owner, seemed like a…read moredecent guy at first -- friendly, responsive, and willing to help with a small job I needed done. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. After taking my deposit, Jeff basically disappeared. For a couple of weeks, he offered various excuses for the delays, but nothing ever moved forward. Eventually, I told him I'd rather just get a refund and hire someone else. Since then, I've been completely ghosted. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I trusted him with my money, and now I'm left with no job done and no refund. At this point, I feel like I have no choice but to file a police report. Be very cautious before working with this company.

Not only did he weld the broken handle that broke where the manufacturer had attached two pieces of the lawnmower handle together using a bolt leaving a weak joint. Matt also fabricated a custom metal pipe 1/2 that overlaps each side of the break to reinforce the repair. He took time to ensure the original bolt was still removable for easier transport of the push mower. I learned a lot! Price was 1/3 of the next best quote.
