I have, however, been dealing with what I deem inappropriate behavior and have been doing everything in my power to talk to someone about it. I have reached out to the corparate office and beleive it or not was transferred to a third party entity to report my issues. That third party is located in some thrid world nation!!!! I am to try and explain my issues with someone whose first language is not english! Let'st start there. There is also a significant delay when conversing with this individual due to internet connection or whatever the reason but it is MADDENING and unprofessional. Also, these overses agents speak from a script. There is no real conversation to be had at all. I am going to ATI's flagship location. Location #1. I am in a situation where I do not feel comfortable continuing my healing under the circumstances but I am 10 visits in. Almost $400 out of pocket is my responsibility. I am mere minutes from their Bolingbrook Corporate Office but I cannot get a phone call back from anyone. Not one soul has called me even though I was promised a phone call this past Monday 1/20. I was assured someone, Chad, perhaps would call me 100% and nothing. How is this acceptable????? I am beside myself. I did not go in today for my 12:30 scheduled appointment and no called me despite me making several attempt to call them at 630-455-6630. It just rings and rings and rings then goes to a fast busy, I also called the corporate office at (630) 296-2223. Also no answer at all. I will post this everywhere until I get a response. This is upending my recovery and care. Sad from an entity who is supposed to help with said recovery.

There are so many locations that there is bound to be one near you and they fund raise for worthy causes. The equipment is always cleaned after every person uses it, so I really liked that. If I am ever in need of physical therapy (hopefully not) I'll definitely be coming back!

EVERY appointment was on time and the agreed upon timeframe. The office would constantly be in communication if any updates were needed and the space was always clean. It's open and bright and cheerful. There's even an adorable office dog! In addition to the expected electrical stimulation, ice, heat and massage, they also provide cutting edge technology including cold laser, ultrasound & ultrasound enhanced cortisone. The staff is skilled, caring and friendly. They are dedicated professionals that know their work. The patient base is very diverse. I may have an athlete to my left, and a senior citizen to my right, while I gaze at a child , across the room, being treated for a soccer injury. There's always a couple of interesting conversations going and to top it all off: the magazine selection is pretty darn good.

As a woman, I often feel uncomfortable in healthcare situations, especially when it's as "hands-on" as physical therapy can be. All of the staff were super great about expressing consent and making me feel comfortable at each appointment. I enjoyed my time getting to know the friendly staff while regaining my strength. Soprts and ortho has some of the best therapists working there I have encountere d for chronic , old injuries. All therapists are very knowledgeable and experienced in the kinetic chain as well as being exceptionally thorough. I highly recommend Lauren for lower back, hip, knee and feet injuries. I have been to prior physical therapy business where there was only 1 therapist who dealt with you solely and I have also been to other therapy businesses where there are several therapists to choose from to get your therapy. I feel it's only fair to break down this review/rating into categories: Location: 2 stars - convenient Beverly location with ample parking in their private lot. I didn't feel comfortable parking in the lot - although there are tall light posts back there, they don't come on and it's completely dark in the lot. I would try my best to park on the side of the business but it's limited parking over there and they had started construction in that area as well where temporarily you couldn't park in those spaces. Treatment: 4 stars - physical therapists really work hard to help your condition. They thoroughly massage the injured area, give you exercises at the facility and at home. I feel the treatment did help my foot quite a bit. I didn't like the fact that even though I could of had an appointment with my scheduled therapist, if they were still working on someone, another therapist would guide you as to what your therapist notes are to do until your therapist is available. Staff: 2 stars - front desk staff was nice and friendly. The physical therapists were friendly as well which I could appreciate. What I didn't like is the unprofessionalism that not all but a few of the therapists had. While I would be getting my massages, certain therapists would be talking negatively about other clients out in the open by either saying their name outright or using first initial, last initial in front of everyone. I was also directly given information from two therapists about patients there (who they liked, who they didn't) and as a client, I shouldn't be told about any of that, it made me uncomfortable. I'm not going to be trusting that when I'm not around that I won't get talked about too and it's a valid concern. Staff needs to have a level or professionalism and be very careful also what's talked about due to HIPAA laws. Privacy: 1 star - The facility is built very well - each station had a table with a surrounding curtain to use for privacy but they were not being used most of the time (I only saw it used once while there). I saw body parts that I shouldn't of seen (e.g. a man's fully bare hairy chest (and he was a big man). These curtains should be used to give the privacy necessary for who is being treated and other clients around. That's what they are there for. Equipment: 5 stars - There is all kinds of equipment there to help you with whatever ailment on your body you have from exercise machines to balls to ultrasound machines for massage/pain therapy. I'm glad this business was able to help me but I do hope the things mentioned can be worked on because they are serious issues that can make or break someone continuing to use this facility.

Telling me she won't sign my back to work papers unless I do as she says. She told me the exercises which was different than my employer told me. I asked to see the paper to confirm it was from them so I could verify things were being done correctly. She said no and told me to stop asking questions. (This was my first question) . I said I'll do them but I just wanna verify. She flashed the paper for 1/2 a second and said ok now do them. At this point I'm like whatever I'll just do it I need the job. But then the manager came over asking her what the problem is. She says I'm refusing her orders and he laughed and said tell him the door is right there if he don't like it. (Very professional place). Honestly would've walked out at this point but I didn't want them to get paid for nothing so I stuck it out. She then explained I had to do all the exercises multiple times. I asked where it says this in the paper and She rolled her eyes and stormed to the front desk to grab her manager saying I was refusing to do what she said. Manager came to have a talk and honestly had to put him in his place saying there's cameras. Watch them if you want. Your employee is full of it. He walked away seemingly annoyed but it's true. I didn't refuse. I only asked to see the paper which work said I can see. The exercise was 5 minutes so I set a timer on my watch. 5 minutes go by and she says nothing. I continue for another minute still nothing so I just stop. She ask why I stop and I explained the time was up and showed my timer. She says "I didn't tell you to stop keep going" which I explain work only required 5 minutes and I went over that. She responded with "too bad you have to do what I say if you want the job. Either keep going or if you don't want the job that's on you". At this point I knew she wouldn't sign my paper (she didn't) so I just became a pain to show her that her power trip didn't work. Thankfully I had a video recording of our interaction and explained it to my work. They sent me to another place that treated me with respect and signed my papers. This place I wouldn't even recommend to someone I didn't like. Work is looking at canceling sending their business here too thankfully so none of us have to deal with them again. Take this as your warning not to go.
