I've gone thru my share of injuries to my ankle and his expertise and professionalism has been remarkable. Most importantly, despite being discharged, he is still very involved in my recovery. He has checked in with me since the discharge just to ensure I'm continuing to progress. I've never had a therapist that's been so dedicated to seeing me succeed. Danielle refused to give me the price per hour or any other price information (like an estimate). She interrupted my questions & statements and seemed insulted by my inquiries. There was no price transparency from Danielle. Just before actual therapy, Danielle repeatedly and sternly stated I should call "billing" to learn the cost of therapy & if my insurance applied. This business' "billing" number is not identified on its business web site & I did not want to use her services before knowing the cost (just like any other reasonable person). Danielle's conduct was shocking because the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505/2), requires medical providers provide itemized statements for services upon request. It is advisable to get a cost statement and estimate from all healthcare providers BEFORE it is too late.

When I first called to make an appointment, I specifically asked if I would incur any out-of-pocket expenses. I was told no and that I had met my deductible after my insurance was run. I was aware that I have coinsurance, but I have never received a coinsurance bill for chiropractors or other physical therapists. 2. When I attended, the physical therapists were double-booked. Generally there was one therapist per about 3-4 patients. I have been an athlete my entire life so physical therapy is not new to me. This is the first time I have been compelled to get my phone out and play games waiting for the PT to complete working with another patient. 3. I received an itemized bill that has different prices for THE SAME billing code. I called to clarify how I had an outstanding balance given that I was told I would not have to pay anything out of pocket. I also asked why THE SAME billing code has different prices. I was told a manager would call me back. They never did. Rather, I received another letter threatening to send me to collections. I called again today and I was told that whoever was supposed to call me back "did not see a reason to." Clearly they care about money more than their patients. The physical therapists are fine professionals, but whoever is running the admin, billing, and operations should be fired. There are physical therapy clinics on every corner in Illinois. Next time I will go elsewhere.

I was referred to Absolute Rehab by my doctor at Wheaton eye clinic, I was experiencing low level…read morebut almost constant pain in my left eye, beginning shortly after my cataract surgery last year. After performing a thorough eye exam the doctor stated that my eye looked perfect, he also did a quick review of my neck and upper back and determined that the source of my eye pain may be referred pain from that area. He referred me to Absolute Rehab, to say the least I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. During my 1st visit I was very much impressed by how quickly Constance and Retu identified the misalignment of my left shoulder blade and the lack of surrounding muscle tissue. Retu immediately recommended a 6 week therapy and exercise program that Constance would guide me through in the coming weeks. Here I am 6 weeks later and my eye pain is minimal at its worst, my posture is better than it's been for 20 years and I rarely feel the tightness and pain that has plagued me for the past 30 years. I plan to continue the stretching and exercises I learned here for as long as I can, because I feel great as a result. The physical therapy worked great for me, but what made me look forward to each and every appointment was the feeling that I was spending time with close friends, sharing life's experiences, common interests, and exchanging knowledge. I truly felt like part of the family, the team at Absolute Rehab exceeded my expectations in each and every way. Our physical therapist was relocating to their new office, but a replacement was never assigned or attained by Westside. All of a sudden we lost one of sessions due to their lack of staff and responsibility to their clients. The following week we lost our 2nd day and they blamed it on my wife, saying she informed them that we no longer needed a 2nd session. Totally Untrue. If you're providing a service to people (especially kids in need) make sure your current clients are being taken care of before you go looking for more. Westside is obviously not keeping their clients best interest in mind. On the last day when we were informed that our only session left had been canceled our physical therapist was behind the desk with the receptionist didn't even have the decency to even say hello, sorry for the misunderstanding, or ANY kind of acknowledgement for that matter. Very disappointed in Westside Children's Therapy. (Joliet location)
