This will be my second review and I look forward to writing it. Advance Physical Therapy Marietta…read moreis placed at the top of any PT, or Rehab I've had. Being a Veteran I have had a lot of issues while on active duty and since. The staff here are very professional as I have said prior. But more than that, they're very knowledgeable and are able to answer questions I have been asking at the VA. Earlier this week I mentioned being told (about 6 years ago) that I was too young to have a knee replacement. It was never explained by the doctors I asked at that time what my age had to do with a knee replacement. I mentioned this to Alex, because now I'm told I need one and a double one at that. He explained in a manner that I could understand over possibly ten years, I'll need another because just like anything that is used over time it needs to be replaced and that would be another surgery. That was clear, easy to understand and made logical sense. Jackie the intern has been amazing. She's being trained by an expert in Andrew so wherever she goes her clients along with whatever clinic she finds herself at will be very appreciative of her knowledge and hands on approach. Great personality and learning from the best she'll go a very long way. Lalah is the baby of the team. I say she's in kindergarten because she's just starting out with school and training. Again, being trained properly goes a very long way and is important when working with the body and being able to answer the questions your clients ask. Understanding what the body did once upon a time and having to readjust can sometime be depressing but at this facility your growth and healing gives you the confidence you need to make those adjustments. Basically, you tend to leave smarter than when you walked in. Now the Main Person is Patty. She's fantastic. I say that because she has puts up with me having to change my days constantly due to surprise calls about appointments at the VA. She always has a smile as though it's no big deal, while I'm feeling bad because of the constant changes. She makes the changes and keeps that smile. For others this may seem minimal or not important but for me, it's very important to know that I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt. When advised by the VA about a week ago that more PT was needed and given the option of driving to Decatur or continuing my treatment here. I chose to remain here. I see progress and that's what matters to me. They are a family and treat the clients like family. We're total strangers when we first start therapy, but I promise by the time you leave, you have made new friends, found out about a new store, or new music, and new movies. Basically, you're not the same person when you leave as you were when you arrived. Being new to Georgia and then the pandemic, at this facility, I've met new people, been given the name of a great VA doctor, found out about a Kroger's that the size of a super Target, the names of local parks, and a great French Bakery. This is long post I know, but there's so much positivity it's important for me to let them and the public know this is an A+ facility and they do a job well done. GREAT PEOPLE PROVIDING GREAT CARE and with a Smile! Thank you gang and Jackie and Lalah, go save the world!

First of all, if you're reading this, I'm sorry you're in need of physical therapy…read more Second of all, you're lucky that you've found Hooman and his amazing staff at Advanced Rehabilitation. There aren't enough superlatives for them. I had a freak accident and I've gone from hobbling around in pain to being able to walk and I can almost run! I'm so so grateful for their warm professionalism and how far they go above and beyond for their patients. Happy healing!

I usually do not write reviews, but this is different. For the past 15+/- years I have had to use…read moremultiple companies for physical therapy due to multiple back surgeries. Most previous PT clinics did not provide proper (personal attention) treatment for me but never hesitated to collect a great deal of money from the insurance company. However, after having cervical spine surgery (earlier this year), my doctor referred to the FYZICAL Marietta (Sprayberry) and Kennesaw, GA locations for physical therapy. WOW, where was Ryan Reid and his staff 15 years ago? This is the most professional PT staff I have encountered. They really care about each patient and cater their treatment to the needs of healing and quick rehabilitation. I do not mean just the first visit; I mean every time you walk through the door. Each aspect of the treatment is determined to what the body needs that day! The extent of my surgery will cause me to have PT for an estimated 10-12 months. However, Ryan is doing his best to make sure I am back to my old self sooner rather than later. His workouts and technique (for me at the clinic and home exercises) are working wonders. Ryan and his staff have helped coordinate PT treatments in both Florida and soon to be in Maryland (due to travel needs) as they want to see complete recovery and they care about their patients. I want to publicly thank Ryan and all the staff for their dedication to helping me through this process.

Yeah, Woodstock PT is fun. Dr. Brakeville put me through a more thorough examination than I expected--all the better to assess my condition. Then he put heat on the affected muscles for warming before working them, followed by putting me through some paces to get my muscles firing and on the road to strength. Subsequent visits started with heat, then a bit of cardio on a recumbent bike, then strength exercises. This doesn't sound fun, does it? Well, here's what was fun. The staff are hilarious and are always cracking jokes. And since the equipment is all in one central room, everyone is included in the repartee. There's usually 80s music going, which naturally got us all singing along. Plus, there's a TV on the wall tuned to some sort of sports channel, for those needing a visual distraction while pumping out stability ball crunches. There's even a Wii game, in case a patient needs to exercise their bowling arm, or tennis arm, or whatever. Throughout my time at Woodstock PT, communication was a priority--meaning, Dr. Brakeville shot straight with me about the possible outcomes and the possibility of referring me on if my body didn't respond to his treatment. I appreciate his candor. But mostly, I appreciate the fun!
