They suggest I find a hand specialist, which lead me to find Dr. Metz at Core in my Cigna PPO network. First visit doctor simply examined the finger, took X-rays, and did an ultrasound of the finger to see if he could determine a diagnosis - x-rays and scan looked clear. To avoid future issues he recommended we remove it. Follow-up visit in Elks Grove Village for surgery was easy. Dr. Metz fully scrubbed up (which is something my derm never does). Dr. Metz removed the growth and sutured the small incision with great care and precision. Follow-up visit was simple - stitches removed and confirmed diagnosis of scar tissue/nevus. During my check up, the doctor told me to get some lab work from outside clinic which was just doable in a day. So before i left the clinic to asked the receptionist to book for an appointment for the following day (saturday) so that i can finish my checkup. The arrogant receptionists told me that the result would take 2 days to proccess so she cannot book me an appointment. So i asked her how about monday, she told me that "monday is too soon, ussually result will come after 5 days." I was trying to be very patient but i started to get upset with her responses. The lazy and arrogant nurse over heard our conversation came to us and told me that "they still have to read the results and tabulate the readings so monday is too soon" With this statement from the nurse, i felt they were not so helpful to their patients. Anyways, so i booked for another appointment next friday. I then went to the clinic for my lab work. I asked the guy, when can they send the lab results to vna. They guy told me that they will send it on thay same day friday. So i was glad. On thursday next week, the day before my next appointment, i called vna to see if they have my lab results, i lady told me that they did not receive any. This was 5 days after my lab. So i called the clinic to see if they have sent it. They guy told me that they did sent it on the day i got my lab work. Moreover, the guy was so helpful and told me that he will sent it again to vna to make sure they got my result for my appointment tomorrow. So i got confused and disappointed. The following day, when i went to vna, the lazy nurse and receptionist told me that they did not have my result. They even added that the clinic where i got my lab work, would always say that they will send it but they wont. With this sense, i felt they were just mistreating their me. So i made another appointment on monday of next week and hope that they will get the result. When i came there, the lazy nurse told me the same thing. They didnt have they las result. I was so upsetand disaapointedThey knew i had an appointment, so they should have followed up to the clinic for my result or they could have just told me to get it from the clinic and bring it with me. Rather they did nothing at all. When i started to freakout, they doctor came out and talked to me and told me if i have a copy of the lab results and bring it to the clinic to that she could read it and proceed with my checkup. While the doctor was talking to me i looked at the nurse and the receptionist and i saw they were looking at each other rolling there eyes. They felt like they were above me. And i would like to add, they nurse was so arrogant, when i checked in the clinic, i had my body temperature checked, she overbearingly told me to remember my body temperature because she will ask for it even though she had a thermometer gun on her hand. So arrogant. I will never come back to this place.
