I was discouraged and ready to give up when the kind lady at the front desk took time and effort to encourage me and caution me to quit was not a good resolution...Within tend days or so I was able to resume my life and they released me telling me I could return if I ever felt I needed their help. Never did we feel rushed. She was just happy to help in any way she could. Full of information and super nice. And Dr. Curtis is the absolute best. He takes his time and makes us feel heard. He asks questions and many of them so that he can asses our problems as thoroughly as possible. He gave us exercises and stretches that actually have HEALED my son's back. Please keep in mind, my son does these exercises and stretches on a daily basis because he is an athlete and never wants to feel the discomfort and pain again that he was previously experiencing. He is currently working on making his knee whole again with exercises and stretches that Dr. Curtis has recommended. It's only been about 1.5 weeks and already there is much improvement. With Dr Primus & team please bring up all the issues you have in order for treatment to be successful. I came for my knees I believe I slipped and fell when it icy out onto my knees, maybe 4-5 years ago but I didn't break anything. My knees finally had it and started to buckle after exercising last spring. Dr Primus performed surgery on the left knee which gave me the most problems. The right started feel the effects of overuse so I received a steroid injection. My surgery went well I was able to maneuver on my own without crutches within 5 weeks. Trust when I tell you that the recovery is painful but you'll get better in time. Trust the process with keeping up with appointments PT and doing exercises at home. PT team is all that, always attentive to working my knees using equipment and body calisthenics. You don't wait for them normally give precise appointments so you're not rushed but again let them know how you are feeling and all issues. To care for yourself after will aid you in recovery. A 9.5 out of 10 for me but be prepared to wait for Dr Primus. He is very skilled, attentive and trying to help out everyone. For the most part people are willing to wait to wait for him. Bring your patience when choosing Dr Primus, you will wait some times but he is so worth it!!! Before coming to CSO I previously went to a center whom I shall NOT name and they were not attentive. They played with my health and pain, that was a NO go for me, I took my injuries, my money and found Dr Primus. I cannot say enough amazing things about Joint Pro Physical Therapy in Frankfort. After suffering…read morean MCL sprain, I struggled for months to walk normally and with no pain. I had always been someone who loved hiking daily, riding my bike, and staying active, but over the past year I had to give up so many things I loved because of the pain and limitations. When my doctor finally referred me to physical therapy, I honestly wasn't sure it would work. But I committed to the process -- I went three times a week for a little over two months and followed all of my home exercises -- and the results have been life-changing. I saw my doctor yesterday, and she was amazed by my improvement. I can now ride my bike for an hour, walk for over an hour, and I'm reaching my goal of 10,000 steps a day on top of my bike rides! I still remember when a five-minute walk was painful, so being able to do the things I love again feels like a miracle. I have to give a very special thank you to Kim, who answered my first phone call and immediately showed the genuine care and compassion that sets this place apart. Her customer service and kindness made such an impression. I also want to thank my amazing therapists Josh, Angie, Joe, Colleen, Rae, and everyone else who helped me along the way (I apologize if I missed anyone or misspelled a name!).
