Speaking strictly for the physical therapy arm, and not the orthopedic surgery group, I have to say…read morethat Northwest Rehabilitation is the most fantastic experience I have had with a physical therapist in a long time. Matt and Becky are really fantastic at what they do and will give you a program that suits your needs based on really listening to your pain and prescribing a holistic program to address it. They are gentle and attentive, and the assistants at the facility are too. Everyone is very skilled and accommodating and I recommend them to anyone who might need PT services.

First of all, the address for this is wrong. They moved some time ago. I've sent notifications to…read moreYelp several times, but they have not acknowledged my requests. So, the address is actually on Salt Creek Lane and Euclid Road and it is in the building behind the Starbucks. On September 11, 2014 I had my rotator cuff repaired in my right shoulder. The surgeon suggested this place, and even went as far as to recommend Dorota, one of the physical therapists. I've been holding off on posting a review until (1) the address was corrected and (2) I had gone enough times to form a real opinion. I have an opinion and am not going to wait for the address correction any longer. I have been very pleased with the work done there. Dorota is marvelous. While I have been frustrated - I want to go faster, she is quite knowledgeable about how quickly you can go. The building is brand new and very well designed. And, their equipment is all new and state of the art. After three months I am doing very well, and actually am ahead of where there would expect someone of my age with the severity of injury and surgery to be. I am thrilled with the surgeon and indebted to the work done at Northwest Rehabilitation.

Dr. Karm and her staff do amazing work!…read more I have been an athlete my entire life: competitive swimmer- turned Crossfitter- turned Orange Theory addict. In July 2021, after seeing an orthopedic doctor and receiving a round of HA gel injections previously, my knee was in an abundance of pain. I could barely walk and it was affecting my ability to work, workout, drive and do normal activities with friends and family. At the advice of a friend, I called Active Care. I had never been to a Chiropractor before but was desperate for help. I was welcomed with friendly faces, a clean and open office, an insurance sheet that told me exactly how much I would owe for what and when, and Doctors with positive attitudes, outgoing personalities, and who truly want the best for you. I saw Dr. Freseth who created a plan for me that included rehabilitation, adjustments, exams, and regular massages with Cheryl. Every rehab session turned into "work and talk" discussions about food, life, athleisurewear and healthy living which made me excited to keep coming back and motivated to keep up my progress. Anytime I have a question about my account statement, I receive a response in less than an hour. By November 2021, I was pain free, back to working out 6x a week, and running faster every day. In February 2022, I had a 2.3 second PR on a 500m row benchmark at Orange Theory, which I credit to Cheryl's massage work earlier in the day and the continued work of the Active Care team on this former athlete's creaky joints.

ATI has been an extremely disappointing experience…read more The physical therapists are nice, but they're clearly overbooked -- my PT was juggling two or three patients per hour, charting and doing treatments at the same time. Most of my exercises were shown by the tech, not the PT. Their billing process is a mess -- I was told I could use the self-pay rate ($120 in Illinois) if insurance didn't cover therapy, but after several calls, they never switched me to self-pay and kept billing my insurance anyway. Every call went through a call center, and each person told me something different. I've now made 7 calls and still don't have a corrected bill or resolution resulting in a $1000 billing difference. Please be sure to read the reviews from their headquarters. I identify with the negative comments here (https://share.google/rfevMAglPowh7mStB) or look at reviews for "ATI Physical Therapy - Corporate Office" there's many red flags I wish I'd seen about their billing ATI's therapists are kind and skilled, but the company's corporate structure and billing system make it impossible to recommend them. Look elsewhere for transparent billing and consistent one-on-one care.

Every time,I've come here to ATI, I have been extremely pleased with my therapy. The therapists are very kind, understanding, and well-trained. In all cases my doctors have been very impressed and pleased with my progress. I am currently finishing up my rotator cuff therapy and couldn't be any happier then I am with this recovery. This is by far a great place to go If you need physical therapy, Specifically the one in Palatine on Northwest Highway and Quentin
