In that time, she lost a lot of upper body strength and gained some fear plus lost some confidence in doing certain things. We started at the Mineola location and were blown away by the coaching staff. Within 3 classes my daughter was back to speed on things. She loves gymnastics and wants to go every single day. Coach Sam (Samantha) is amazing. She is so good with the kids and is so consistent. I have also noticed that after every class my daughter knows what they will be doing on the next class which tells me she is a planner and she truly cares about being a coach. The coaches there are awesome and really care about the kids. The Competition cheer teams are so fun and we practice hard! The coaches are big on coaching the kids gracefully but in a good stern way. The coaches DO NOT coach with intimidation or fear like a former coach that was with us there. The new coaches Mark and Zach will be with TRA for a long time and they've shown their professionalism along with their amazing coaching talents and skills. We love this place. The coaches are mostly high school and college students so they have lots of…read moreenergy and patience! They teach the students buildable skills so they can keep advancing. None of the students have to sit around and wait their turn. Every class has four to five stations that the students rotate through so they are practicing the entire time. They have plenty of equipment too. The coaches are vigilant and I've never felt like my daughter was at risk for an injury. Some of the students may struggle a bit more than some of their peers but the coaches give an equal amount of attention to all of the students. I'm not certain they limit the number of students per class but I believe they do because there is never more than 8 or 10 students per class, at least that I have seen. They do have multiple classes going at once so sometimes it's pretty hectic but the coaches are on top of it! The coaches are so sweet so if your worried your kid might not be the best and they'll feel discouraged it really isn't an issue! The price is fantastic and they offer extra lessons (like a tutoring session) for a very good price. I highly recommend.
