This was a very busy time in the city, being Christmas, and we selected this place because we did…read morenot want to queue for hours in the Altstadt, and this is just out of the centre. Whilst it was busy at 7.30pm, we did get a table, but by 8.30pm it was completely full.
The food was really good. Olives & dolmakadia to start, both full of flavour. The lamb kebabs were lean and tender. The daily special of lamb with spinach and cheese was unusual and tasty. We had a bottle of Cretian red wine which was excellent.
Possibly the atmosphere could be improved without Jerry Springer on the TV but it was turned off as the place filled up.
The cost with 2 coffees at 55EUR represented good value.
