The company decided they felt the need to charge me the full amount even though they did NOTHING except unload the truck for 45 minutes and not even unload any equipment. They were late in arriving I was told they were tired by the first person that arrived since they had a busy weekend. There was nothing explained during conversations or on any quote or email received from the company about a 24 hour cancellation notice. My suggestion is that if you plan to use this company you better do your due diligence and understand all of their terms and conditions on your own because after speaking with one of the co-owners they do not feel that it is their job to disclose to you any information regarding their policies. This business is poorly run and I would definitely search and use anyone other than this company.

Like every other reviewer, we can't sing Mike's praises enough. From start to finish, he was an…read moreabsolute pleasure to work with. He is not just an incredible DJ, he is the whole package. We knew we wanted to hire Mike to be our wedding DJ within five minutes of meeting him. He exudes such a fun, positive energy. When asked what his style was, he told us he tends to assess the crowd and make music choices based on what is needed (i.e. get everyone in the mood to dance etc.). This was 100% what we were looking for, as there would be some family drama at the wedding (my parents are divorced and don't speak. AWESOME.) He assured us it would be no problem...and he was right. He truly does build off the energy in the room. His dedication to his work is illustrated in his attention to detail, meticulous preparation, and willingness to go above and beyond. He truly wants your day/event to be perfect. He helped us with SO much. He will give you suggestions based on experience and is completely objective with regards to whether you take his suggestions or not. Choosing music was so fun, but overwhelming - what's the perfect song for the entrance? The bridal party? The cake cutting? AHHH. Have no fear - Mike is here and will send you lists of popular songs for every freaking wedding activity ever known to man. He cut our planning time in half. He came to our vendor meeting, answered every email, emailed us his thoughts, questions etc. He's beyond thorough. The day of our wedding was magical and Mike was phenomenal. Everything was perfect. He set up and came right over to say hi and was just genuinely excited to be there for us. Sometimes vendors are just doing their job - another day, another dollar, but you can tell Mike LOVES what he does. The music was perfect - especially for our first dance. We had choreographed the dance and my husband had edited out a few verses in the middle of the song to shorten it. I was nervous that somehow it would get screwed up, or the original version would play etc....NOPE! Once again, Mike delivered. He did literally everything perfectly the entire night (songs, do not play list, announcements, people's names). He was a beautiful MC and his energy was contagious. He stayed all the way until the end to help us tie up loose ends. Again, he's not just your DJ, he's your planner, your therapist during a freak out (lol), your friend and so much more. His prices are beyond reasonable - we even gave him an extra tip because of his stellar performance. He even followed up after our wedding with a helpful guide to changing my name. I don't know any DJ or vendor that has done that before, do you?! Do yourself a favor and hire Higher Level Sound IMMEDIATELY! Thank you Mike for making our wedding the magical day it was!
