We came at 2pm, just an hour before the kitchen was going to close. The host was going to lead us to the patio but we asked to be seated indoors instead 'cause we thought it would be cooler but it was a little warm inside. The temperature was still bearable though. The food took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait.
Cogumelos recheados (stuffed mushrooms with bacon) - 6.90 euros. My mouth is watering thinking about it right now. This is one of the best things I've eaten during my time in Portugal. It was so juicy and savory. I could've just stuffed myself with a bunch of these instead of getting an entree. There were five pieces.
Tagli Primavera (pasta with vegetables) - 9.50 euros. The pasta was OK. It came with mushrooms. I wish there were more pasta than veggies though.
Salads Mista (mixed salad) - 2.50 euros. It was a very plain salad.
Bacalhau na brasa (charcoaled cod fish) - 11.80 euros. It was too salty.
Bifinhos Peru (turkey) - 6.50 euros. This was the dark horse of the meal. It turned out to be very tasty. It was turkey with cream and mushrooms over rice. The pairing was absolutely perfect, even if the cream and mushrooms did remind me of canned soup.
1.5 Liter water - 2.30 euros.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It's a very nice place that could seem upscale at first, but actually has a casual, relaxing atmosphere. The food portions were big and not costly at all. read more
