What they have on offer changes daily and depends on what they expect to sell. So for sushi quality tuna you better try on Thursday or Friday early in the day because these are the days they sell this the most (to restaurants). Cash only, but there is a cash machine on the opposite side of the road. They are the first shop at the entrance of the market.

I can buy enough to feed 15 for around £15 (squid, king prawn, mussels) with a typical largish fish at about £3-4 though these are more much bigger than their supermarket equivalents. If you ask them they will also happily clean and prepare the fish for you. They even have fish heads if you want to make a stock. Apart from the paella ingredients I've also bought red snapper and scallops without any complaints. The great service and a decent range means that I will always come here and it certainly beats an early morning trek to Billingsgate.

I live so close to Billingsgate that I'd have had a very early wake-up call (Mark starts his day at 2:30 am - I'm not even asleep by then a lot of the time). They have a few types of Japanese Matcha and you can get it iced or hot. I went for the sea salt and vanilla and thought it was a good amount of sweetness. The pork rice bowl came from a stall called Mei Mei and we shared this and both thought it was really good! It has a slightly sweet and sticky sauce, the pork was tender and the rice had a fragrant coconut flavor. They added cilantro and cucumber which provided some crunch and texture. This was fun to experience. We didn't really eat the "viral" foods like the strawberries or paella, but it was fun to watch them prepare things.

And, if there's something specific you want, just tell them and order it in advance - especially for more exotic / less traditional stuff. I've had to do that with swordfish in the past. I don't even know where the next nearest fishmonger is - probably St Albans - so this is a real local gem. It's also discreetly nestled away at the end of the parade on Bradmore Green and I know people who have lived in Brookmans Park for years who don't even know it's there!! As I say, Brookmans Park is lucky. Couple of tips: 1. If you really want something specific order in advance (but you're fine to pop in for stuff like cod loin, salmon, sea bass, tuna etc etc). 2.
